Reminds me of a patient we use to get dispatched to on a pretty regular basis. Whenever I was field training a new employee I would get really giddy when his address was dispatched and then stage in the perfect spot without telling why I was staging a bit closer than you typically would. Then the only thing I would tell them was, "keep your eyes on the front door of that house". Every time like clockwork soon as the first PD vehicles pulled down the block the front door would swing open and the patient would do the birthday suit sprint down the block with multiple officers reluctantly chasing after him trying to corral him without having to tackle or touch him too much. The faces of the countless FNG's experiencing that for the first time was always priceless! 😂😂🤣🤣☠️☠️

There’s something reassuring to know paramedics do this kind of stuff at work. Like, they just fully know what they’re doing, so they don’t have to constantly focus. When my grandma died I got there before they had left with her and I saw the driver smile a bit. It just made me think, they’re already on the next thing, they have done this so many times and they’re going to take care of her and take her where she needs to be.

Man! The guy who asked what Flakka is deleted his comment. I was Googling for us. If you're still around, Flakka (real name alpha-Pyrrolidinopentiophenone, or a-PVP) is a stimulant similar to bath salts.

@@Maninawig He took a drug similar to the street named drug Bath Salts. Was a rather big problem a few years ago because no one knew how to deal with it. Shit is naaaaasty. Called the zombie drug because 1). There were multiple documented cases of them eating people's faces. Literally. And 2). It wrecks your body and makes you look green and skinny, like a zombie. It is a bitch to detox from, as a nurse in a jail who found out the hard way

@@Maninawig That was just the closest analog. I don't think they're the same. One article called it, "a new generation of bath salts."
