Ako I agree doon sa it depends sa iyong financial capability, kasi why not buy a brand new car di ba kung kaya mo naman. It gives you the latest stuff and a peace of mind most importantly na wala syang sira (and of course under warranty pa!). In my case, I bought a 2nd hand one being my first. That's what I can afford at the moment using my own money, and not a single centavo from my parents. Luckily for me which also pushed me further to buy it, eh kilala ko yung first owner and how well-maintained the car is. I have all the records sa casa and I just continued the periodic maintenance under the same dealership. It was a heaven sent. Yung plus don eh the unit I got is the top of the line variant with some upgrades like the dashcam. So sa mga nag iisip mag spend ng hard-earned money nila for a second hand car, scrutinize it as much as you can. Sometimes, you can buy a gold at the price of a silver. Pero if you are capable of shelling out naman, go for a brand new unit na. =)

Ako Mahilig sa second hand. Sulit kase. Just to share yung 5 things na DAPAT pumasa sa akin bago ko bilhin: 1. Casa Maintained with Records! - pinipicturan ko yung service booklet tapos confirm ko kung tugma yung info sa casa 2. Up to date na Registration - isang text lang naman to get info sa LTO 3. Walang unusual noise, kalampag or squeeks - Test drive mo kahit 5 mins lang na patay ang Radyo. Maririnig mo yan 4. Lahat ng switches at ilaw gumagana - Self explanatory na to 5. Walang tulo! - Dala ka ng flash light pag tumitingin ng 2nd hand na auto. Silipin mo makina at ilalim ng kotse kung may mga leaks Yung sa cosmetics naman, as long as walang kalawang, goods na yun. Madali lang naman mag pa ayos ng cosmetic problems. kung meron man gas-gas ang auto, madali naman mag pa detail ng paint.

Tama sir lalo sa mga walang pang outright cash ng oto, hindi tinitignan nung bibili yung overall na babayaran including the interest kundi yung kaya nyang bayaran on a monthly basis for the next 60months. Sa case ko, puro 2nd hand binibili ko from my 1st car (03 altis,), 2nd car (Montero Gen 2) and this year (Montero Gen 3). Parang every 5 years nag uupgrade ako paunti unti hanggang sa umabot yung budget/car ko na konti na lang idadagdag ko brand new na.

In reality, bnew or 2nd hand can have probs. Not all bnew cars are perfect. Pero may warranty to help you if may product defect. So 2nd cash nga & mura pero dami din gastos pag nasira plus abala pa di magamit pg kelangan or brand new na hulugan pero malabo or matagal bago magkasira. take note both ay may maintenance. di ba?

Di lang basta mekaniko sir, kailangan mahusay na mekaniko, marunong gumamit ng gadget like scanner at marunong sa electrical. Mirage 2015 hb manual trans 2nd hand nakuha ko minor parts lang pinalitan ko. Till now runs good, more than 1year na gamit ko.

Yung bago pa kami kukuha ng sasakyan. nag scroll ako sa FB at nakita ko yung video ni Mr. CT about brand new or 2nd hand. naguluhan ako.. hanggang sa umabot na yung point na kumuha parin kami ng bagong sasakyan 2 months ago. tapos nag upload ka ng content nato. napaisip ako na tama ang desisyon ko mag brand new..
