Real Skifi - Newton's Laws (Part 1)

A paid collaboration with Valio Academy.
In 1687 physicist Isaac Newton published a book called “Principia”, which set the foundations for classical mechanics: Newton’s laws of motion. Below is a somewhat free translation of the laws:
(I) If you forget to set your spin/flip on the take off, it’s quite hard to do so midair
(III) But if you happen to have a pair of dumbbells with you in the air and you throw them, the dumbbells will also throw you
(II) The bigger the dumbbells, the more you spin/flip
However some rules could not be found from Newton’s Principia. Rules that would hundreds of years later dictate how Valio Academy scholarships work. Here’s the three perhaps most important ones:
(1) You may only get a scholarship if you apply for one.
(2) Don’t waste your time. The deadline for next year’s applications is August 14th 2022.

Just submitted a request to my school district to approve the video for our content filter.
I love the fact that at the end of the day this is just a “ski video” but the cinematography, editing, and story make it next level. These are some of the highest quality videos on KZread period.

@@RealSkifi I still have no idea how you guys aren’t sponsored by Red Bull out doing massive productions with helicopters and millions of views. You guys seem just as good as the likes of Candide Thovex or Tom Wallisch, and definitely more creative. You do some of the most jaw dropping stunts I have ever seen on skis, and always look so clean and effortless doing it. I’ve been watching since at least 2016!
i showed this to our science teacher and she presented it in front of our 30 student class as we are curently studying physics. Amazing video and keep up the great work

vitun hyvä :D ja se kanisteri kelluu sen takia koska siihen kun laitta 5L sitä nestettä pintä jää pikkasen vajaaks eli siinä on pikkasen enemmän tilavuutta kun 5L

Jep ja toki painot itsessään syrjäyttää vettä myös. Mutta en ois kyl arvannu etukäteen että noin iso erotus kompensoituu! (Punnittiin painot oikeesti vasta jälkeenpäin ja ne oli lopulta käytännössä tasan 7kg molemmat.)

Ei revähtäny. mutta kyllä ne aika nopeesti väsy! Kovinkaan montaa hyppyä ei lopulta jaksanu/uskaltanu ottaa yhteen päivään, kun se paras herkkyys ja räjähtävyys hiipui pois.
