@@ESClubGolf Of course she is still young, but perhaps she wants to do other things for a while. She could return but she does not need to. She had a great career, and was/is a fan favorite because of her charm.
Will miss you Lexi. Thank you for your perseverance. God bless you in this next season of your life.🏌♀

Thanks a lot for your blessings towards her and your support! Keep watching our videos!
I have followed her for 3-4 holes in 2 tournaments - 1st obvious observation, very impressive athletic skill ; 2nd - she is very focused in her game ; 3rd , she seems pretty cool and people around her seem really nice also

She impressed me when she won her first event, she donated $20,000 to Wounded Warrior Foundation. Who you spend your charitable donations on is telling.

Hey thanks for being a great fan ❤️
Hoping for the best in her future life. She was a really nice person and advocate for the game of golf. As for the negative comments posted by her detractors, none of them have put in the time nor effort to accomplish what she has done in her career.

What an amazing career she had!
I truly hope that we will see her on the course in the future. I can't believe that someone called in, and they penalized her after the fact. I would say that the officials on the course were not doing their job.

She has been in the mainstream for more years than the others, so she is tired of the hassle. Maybe just a break, and a return N 🤗

We would so love to see that! Every athlete deserves their much needed break. It would be splendid to have her back on course.
Mismarking her ball and being informed of the penalty during her round. Chicken shit by LPGA

Both of these things are true: 1. Pro tournaments should not review player conduct based upon emails they receive. 2. Lexi Thompson is a cheater
Still not sure of the real reason. Hope she finds her happy place somewhere I guess. I need a fourth in a golf scramble in a few weeks. Think we would win if she hits from the women’s tees.

She surely will find her happy place, we wish!
To me, Lexi Thompson's unexpected retirement is her response to the loneliness and emptiness resulting from devoting too much time to golf.

I did not understand it was a full retirement....I think it is just a partial retirement with about one half the amount of tournaments still being played???? I hope I am right and she did not decide on a full retirement. If so, please come back to golf, Lexi...golf needs you.

Hey. Thanks for being a great fan ❤️
What are the reasons ???? Is she pregnant? or engaged ??
@ESClubGolf

She just needs some time off golf!
She started young and is now burned out. She cannot keep up anymore with the young Asians
@ESClubGolf

Maybe she realized that! But we definitely wanted more of her.
So what is the "real reason"? All this video did was to leave me asking more questions. More speculation.
@ESClubGolf

Clearly, she's opting for the calm and uneventful life of retirement at the peak of her career. How could anyone think otherwise?

Are you saying she can no longer handle the stress of pro golf competition?@@ESClubGolf
2 minutes of content stretched into 10. Blah
When she blew the US Open at Olympic, that was a real downer.

She must have been really disappointed with that herself, isn't she?
Quite a lady.
@ESClubGolf
16 күн бұрын
Yea she was, who do u think is next great female golfer ?
Lexi has a foot-fault in her swing that she is unable to correct. This could be the reason why she is forced to retire early.
@ESClubGolf
21 күн бұрын
Fans are expecting her to be back on course. Maybe she is able to fix that fault soon!
Running down on atheletes who don't meet expectations for the sake of news items is idiotic journalism.
The real reason?? She's hasn't won in awhile. She no longer has the game... AND her gf wants her home more.
@ESClubGolf
21 күн бұрын
You sure? That's the only reason?
Terrible job here. You never give " real reason"
Real reason? Clickbait!! Maybe her golfpartner Trump has asked her to be vp?

It's important to keep discussions respectful, especially when it comes to someone's career and personal decisions. Lexi Thompson has dedicated herself to her sport and has achieved a great deal. Let's focus on her accomplishments and contributions to golf rather than making unfounded speculations.
@leifanderspettersson3044
5 күн бұрын
Well, you used "real reasons" as clickbait and i think my guess is as good as anything else
She made a ton of marketing/endorsement money over her career because of her looks and early youthfulness, not from her dull personality. She started out dull on/off the course, and remained that way throughout. Neither her nor her game seemed to evolve. And the Asian girls ate her alive. Lydia Ko had the career Lexi was supposed to have.
@ESClubGolf
5 күн бұрын
Ah, yes, because winning multiple LPGA tournaments and representing the USA in the Solheim Cup multiple times is just so average. Clearly, dull personalities always captivate millions of fans and stay at the top of their game for years!
She was a victim of the Asian swarm on the LPGA. Lexi couldn’t keep up with them in the earlier stages of her career. Now in the later stages of it she has Nelly to deal with & again she falls short of expectations. Lexi believed she would be a flat out beast on the LPGA. Instead she resulted more like a Rickie Fowler. An overhyped overrated professional golfer 🤷🏻♂️⛳️
@pb12661

I do think her game is slipping a bit and that played a part. However, she did manage to win 14 million dollars and 11 tournaments against that "Asian swarm" as you call it. Not a bad career in my book...
With all do respect, one only has to wonder if Lexi's sports management group or Maxfli paid for this promotional piece. IMHO her legacy will be marked more by her failure to win in over 5 years, almost loosing her card in 2023, blowing a 5 stroke lead in the Women's US Open and marketing gimmicks. To a large extent the pressure referenced as the reason for her overall mediocre career was self imposed by way of the promotional and hype she herself willingly participated in. An now I guess we can expect that, similar to Michelle Wie, Lexi will place the blame for her not performing up to the hype and promotion on something or someone else. As displayed once again in the US Women's PGA Championship, despite lighting in up on the back nine after a 43 on the front, Lexi chocked on Sunday and moved backwards. That is not indicative of a courageous, top tier player. So perhaps promotional pieces like this and more of the press should be focused on the countless Asian players who perform week after week and have routinely beat Lexi over the past 5 years. Oh one more thing there is a reason the video doesn't get into specifics regarding the Olympics and Solheim Cup as Lexi's performance in those is indicative of her less than extraordinary play.
@ESClubGolf
4 күн бұрын
Oh, absolutely! Because when someone wins multiple LPGA titles, represents her country in the Olympics, and becomes one of the most recognizable figures in women's golf, it's clearly all about her failures. Thanks for the insight!
