i feel so bad for the parents who bought the fake versions for their children without knowing they were fake. and that their children just got mad at them for not buying the real product, atleast most of us are grateful for what we have and that we have a roof over our heads.

Ik ik this is a year later but most kids won't tell the difference, these are so close to the officials there clearly using Mattel molds so they must be operating in some sort of old mattel factory . Trust me when I was a kid I would not tel the difference

Agreed. Its mostly the haulers for everyone. If I saw one of these fakes, I'd burn it.

Those fake cars is what you find at the mercado de pulgas in the rip-off section of the toys🗿💀

Oh god, I remember those knockoff haulers. They look nothing like the actual haulers that we see in the movie, not to mention the decals are so damn inaccurate to the real haulers. If someone were to think that these haulers were real and from the movie, they must be an alien or something. Ever since I saw these knockoff haulers, I’m like what the hell is this?

Very nice video as always, PCP. I always have avoided those haulers like the plague. Also, that bootleg Rip probably looks weirder because you're comparing him to the Thailand one, which has much duller colors and a generally grainier look compared to the China one. Also, do you have China McQueen as Chester Whipplefilter? I have both China versions.

I used to have the china one, well, my brother did. From the 2 pack with him and Luigi and guido with the mud towel. We haven’t seen the China McQueen in a while tho… who knows where he’s been hiding here at our place

I realy thought last time that you should make a comparison with fake Cars products, because there is a lot of stuff like that in Ukraine and it became a real problem to buy something original (especially for good price). But it is not a problem for me as a Cars fan to say where is real and where is knockoff stuff.

Btw, these "fakes" made on the same factory, same line same people as originals. There are certainly real fakes exists but these are more so called "backdoor production" . The really rare diecasts not possible to find "fakes", cause they rare enough, so whoever reproducts them, can't find or not willing to pay for originals.

Just either manufactured not during official shift, stolen from the factory and haven't been packaged, or haven't passed random quality control. So mostly I would expect minor issues specially with decals and paint. The variety of haulers that resemble Mack - they are real fakes though.

I don't think the die-cast fakes (Like these ones) contain some But I know that the ones that are cheap plastic knockoffs like some that T Toy Reviews Ty reviewed on his channel (Just images) contain lead

Because the fake ones quality is terrible, the fake ones aren’t as accurate to the movie as the real ones, and the paint on the fake ones might not be safe, so it would definitely be better to get the real ones, even though they are more expensive.

@@JesseGT the main issue is when you are trying to get an official one but you are tricked by a bootleg. Also, these bootlegs may not be safe for kids and most of these go to kids.

I bought fake Rip Clutchgoneski on the flea market by mistake, so I think I'll buy a new real Clutchgoneski when it is released.

I bought some fake trucks 2 weeks ago, it arrived yesterday, they aren't that bad tbh Btw the trucks I bought were Chick, The King, Greg Candyman and that one RPM car Edit: I bought fake trucks because original diecasts are really really really really really rare in my country, and when they're on sale, they're expensive as duck
