sharyn evans I am also a musician and singer. I could tell she had perfect pitch through my tears when she sang "Part of your world," on Little Big Shots at 3 yrs old. Imagine what she'll be like in 13 years. Just about every time I watch her videos, it chokes me up. And I'm not at all easily choked up. Doesn't matter how many times I listen. Happens every time. She is just precious and supremely talented. She sings directly from her beautiful heart and soul, and then aims it directly at ours.

Bojonne x I am certain that you can when the child is 3 yrs old and can sing every note in the correct key with the song. The majority of children don't hear certain tones and can't match those tones when they hear them. Now get a life and stop trolling the video of an exceptionally talented 5 yr old that will always be a better singer and human being than you are.

As an experienced person with perfect pitch. I say that she definently has perfect pitch. She can recall every note very quickly and when she is asked to sing a certain note, she can hear the actual pitch in her head instead of using intervals to find certain notes (like people with relative pitch.) It’s an amazing skill to have and I have personally only met a few other people that have it.

Well, it's called perfect pitch (or absolute pitch) ;) it's an amazing ability to witness but you're either born with it or not (around 1 in 10 000 people have it), and having it doesn't make you a prodigy. It certainly helps to learn music or how to play an instrument, but it's just a random genetic trait! You could be a prodigy without it, and could have it without being a prodigy. That being said, it's super impressive. Both my boyfriend and my best friend have it, and I've been fascinated with it for a long time, so I always test their perfect pitch and am amazed by it!

@@magdacovers2 I thought a perfect and absolute pitch are 2 different things? I can't remember the difference but someone explained it to me once. I think it was like: the perfect pitch is a trait that can be learned because a lot of musicians have trained their hearing so well that they cab recognise notes when hearing them and sing them like this little girl, but they can still get it wrong more often since it's a learned trait and they have a lower range of this ability ,while absolute pitch provides you with a wide range of possibilities and can not be learned - they can get even more complex melodies correct just by hearing them and recognise notes - and incorrectly played/song ones while the song is playing, remember patterns and lots of other things. I might be incorrect or it may be a language difference - I am not an English native speaker so in my country it may be called this way and in others it may be reffered to as the same trait.

@@jelena8960 I never heard that, but maybe you're right and it's referred to differently in your country/language? If you go on the Wikipedia page for "perfect pitch", or any page describing it, they will say that you can also refer to it as absolute pitch, and I've never seen them mention a difference. What you refer to as perfect pitch (the one that can be learned) sounds like relative pitch to me, however! And then what you refer to as absolute pitch seems would be perfect pitch/absolute pitch (interchangeable terms), from what I've heard :)

It’s amazing to see how much Claire has grown in just the three years since this video was made. I love her laughter and her “stinker!” was so cute. 😂❤️

I’ve been in guitar class for almost two months in my school and I still can’t tell the different between a major and minor sometimes (Edit) Update: One month later I can now tell the difference between major and minor perfectly

im in england and im in y8 ( im 13 and a half ) and my music teacher told my form that the easiest way to figure it out is that a minor sounds kinda sad and a majlr sounds kinda happy. that was stupid. i was just wondering if that was correct?
