Raha should have taken gold. Throwing your bike in the back of a beat up van and having your lil homie film you hitting makeshift rooftop jumps made out of washing machines is way gnarlier than a groomed course at Jeremy McGraths compound with a professional film crew using cinema cameras and helicopters.

There were total different levels of gear filming too. I saw from $2K cameras to over $50k camera setups. Raha and 16 year old film maker Tyson Traner did amazing job compared to the gear others were using. Helicopters, RED cameras and man a SHOT OVER camera gimbal system. That is some Massive high dollar stuff.

Did you not watch the video? There are multiple other people doing what he's doing.. Real moto, to me at least, isn't taking a dozer and building everything perfectly calculated in one area. Axell is a sick rider but I agree with Renner.. feels like I've seen it before. Foster and Raha went out and found/shoveled creative spots, even Haaker's part they built that in 3 days with no way to go back and it flowed. That opening line on Axell's part is sick tho

That jump over the railing off the bridge was pretty cool at first it look like it was going to be a way bigger with jump but at the end you could see that it was actually a pretty small jump I you barely popped up over the railing to clear it and you can tell you weren't going very fast but at the end it is still badass that was still really cool and very creative and yeah definitely take some balls to do that and pull it off.

Don't get me wrong, Hodge's part was sick, especially the nose wheelie to front flip, but like Renner said, it was a perfectly manicured riding spot. Raha brought creativity in locations and was more "real" with major Crusty vibes. He definitely got robbed.

Not your daddies supercross track thats for damn sure! I think my favorite thing about extreme sports is how legends always stay a part of the sport. Seems like in team sports players tend to disappear and resurface periodically. Legends or pioneers in extreme sports become coachs and judges its awesome!

RAHA for the win, he was the only one who hit anything "real" in that house, road gaps, giant step down w/ just a little shovel love and that crazy jump into the LA river!! everything else was mostly full build setups. Hodges is gnarly but all that was fully dialed in and engineered setups, nothing hesh about it.

The big paralell twin at 26:02 on the left is savage. Notice that the parallel twin dirt bikes never came to America, we got singles. A 2 cylinder engine is far superior for riding at very low and very high speeds. The engine is able to idle smoothly at half the RPM of the single, and produce very smooth controllable torque just off idle. If you flog a twin, the pistons and valves are half the size, and have less weight, so it's not as much strain on the engine. Plus there is an inherent balance built into the engine, even without a counterbalance shaft. Of course, it wouldn't be any good for tricks, and motocross, but as an enduro and trails bike, a parallel twin is easier to kick start, smoother running, and easier on the chain and sprockets, and tire.
