Benzema as a football player will be talked about in many years for his performance in 2021/22 season. Simply one of the greatest football performances by any player ever seen. The way he scored those goals, showed leadership and carried Madird to victories against everybody's odds. 4% chances to win, Benzema went against them odds.

fun facts; RMA have made history by winning the ucl with this journey. I'm pretty sure no other team has ever had a harder journey than madrid this season and came out victorious (if a team has then please correct me) after winning this years ucl, they now have two times the amount of champions leagues than the team with the second-most ucls, ac milan. Carlo Ancelotti has 4 ucl titles to his name, more than any other manager. Nacho Fernandez now has the same amount of ucl titles as Barcelona, PSG, Manchester City, Tottenham, Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla, Lyon, Napoli, Lazio, Roma, and Besiktas combined, all while being mainly a bench player for most of his career.

Reconozco que no daba ni un euro por el Real Madrid en las tres eliminatorias (octavos, cuartos, semifinales) pero viendo que llegó a la final hay ya estaba seguro que le ganaría al Liverpool.
