✈️WHY DID THESE DISASTERS OCCUR?
Air Florida Flight 90 struggled to climb and collided with a bridge over the Potomac immediately after takeoff. This was due to the pilots failing to de-ice the engines properly in the snowy weather.
Alaska Airlines Flight 261 experienced a malfunction with the horizontal stabilizer which made the plane pitch down uncontrollably. The plane's second dive caused it to violently impact the ocean, making survival impossible for all souls onboard. The plane flew inverted before impact, this was an action of the heroic pilots trying anything to keep the plane from diving.
Japan Airlines Flight 123 experience an explosion soon after takeoff due to the aft pressure bulkhead failing. Incorrect repairs after a tail strike seven years prior caused it to weaken. The blast damaged vital instruments and the tail detached, making the 747SR almost uncontrollable. The startled pilots heroically kept the plane in the air for half an hour. #jal123
Air France 447 was providing false speed readings for the pilots due to some instruments freezing. Not knowing what speed they were at, they incorrectly pitched the plane upwards, causing the speed to reduce and the plane was sent into an unrecoverable stall over the Atlantic. #af447
The Tenerife Airport Disaster occured due to a KLM 747 taking off without permission, colliding with a fully loaded PAN AM. Both planes were diverted to this airport and weather conditions were extremely misty, making it too late for the KLM to abort the takeoff once the PAN AM was in sight.
Rest In Peace to all people lost in these disasters.
Lessons learned following these disasters have made aviation much safer for us today.

Supsnail, I have been thinking about this for a long time since this series has begun. I want so badly for a plane crash recreation KZreadr to recreate real crashes but with RC planes. I understand it might be expensive, but I really want this to carry out.

Part 3 (FedEx80, MH370, Überlingen Midair Collision, Qantas 32, Hudson, Tarom 371): kzread.info/dash/bejne/iYWByJqLesepadI.html *Which crashes should I recreate next?* ✈️ Also, sorry that I couldn't recreate the upper floor on the 747s, but there are two 747s in Part 2 so I recommend seeing it!!! Plus, more real crash information is in the description if you're interested ;) RIP to those lost, this video is dedicated to them.

Some things wrong with the Tenerife reenactment here: 1. The two planes didn’t taxi to the terminal apron, but parked on the taxiway just short of the runway, Pan Am 1736 parked right behind KLM 4805. The apron was so full of planes, that all later incoming aircraft were forced to park on the taxiway. 2. No, both planes didn’t line up on opposite ends of the runway facing each other. In reality, the Pan Am lined up behind the KLM, and both taxied in the same direction along the runway. After reaching the end of the runway, the KLM aircraft made a 180 turn, facing in the opposite direction of the Pan Am, which was still taxiing down the runway.

Sad thing about that incident is that there could have been more lives saved, had the Japanese authority not declined the US Military's offer to send their helicopters to search the area for survivors and waited until the morning. Why the captain decided to go back to Haneda, rather than Nagoya which was closer, or not land at the US military base on the way (they offered) is also a mystery.

Great video! I can’t imagine how much effort it took to make those planes! How did you make them by the way? Were they sets or did you just make them yourself because I want to make some of those planes bc they look so cool! Also R.I.P to those on board those flights who passed 😔
@supsnail

The planes are mostly custom (the labels are printed by me) but all parts are from these sets: 60104, 3181, 7893. Thanks 👍 for enjoying the video, it's my biggest project of all time, and thanks for thinking about those lost, rip.

You should recreate the Air France Concorde crash. They recently released a Concorde LEGO set, so it would be cool if you recreated that.
