I think the bombs pen needs to be buffed so we can pen battle ship citadels a lot more frequently when you’re bottom tier.

The dive bombers should have API armor piercing incendiaries. Or the option to have AP bombers and HE Bombers and obviously torpedoes

She is one hell of a ship, but I'm more fond of her sister USS Hornet which gave Japan our response to Pearl Harbor with the Doolittle Raid.

The Enterprise also participated in the Dolittle Raid though. Unlike Hornet, the big E survived the war after overcoming incredible opposition.

I completely agree that she should be buffed when it comes to the dive bombers, but when you were talking about what her bombers did in real life to the Kaga i can’t help but say that those circumstances were very specific and lucky, considering the only reason that that happened was because of the ignorance of the people in charge rather than the devastating power of the planes, not saying that the carrier like Kaga and Akagi wouldn’t have sunk at midway if that wasn’t the case, just not as fast or in the spectacular way that they did

That's an impressive amount of freedom.

AA rating is very deceptive in general. The overall rating seems to prioritize the long range guns over a shorter ranged AA gun. A 5 inch mount counts for the same number of rating points as 3 or 4 of the short range mounts in my rough estimate.

I actually really like that she has AP bombs. Her having a different bomb type gives players a reason to play her over Lexington. If she had HE bombs, than we’d have 3 tier VII American carriers with HE bombs, but now the Enterprise can distinguish herself from the Lex & Sap. Really the only issue is that the bombs need a buff; either increase the damage per bomb or increase their penetration power. Also, happy Independence Day Doc 🇺🇸 💥

Is it just me or do the bombs seem to perform better when released towards the end of the dive rather than the start like parseval’s?

While the bombs could use a buff, this isn't a sim its an arcade theme game so using RL as justification is silly as heck

Percival has better ap bombs and better fast torps.

I now I’m probably in the minority but I prefer the circle to the oval booming sight for the dive bomber. So i will most likely not ppsy this ship to much

God, does anyone really have the balls to recognize the bombers on the Enterprise as garbage?! Otherwise, all I hear/see is that “Lord, this ship is a legend, it’s just enough for me that it’s in my port.” For some reason, in this game, people are much more interested in the imaginary historical value, rather than the balance characteristics. Just replace the bombs with high explosive ones. Oh yes, they need to think)) lol) but when they had to nerf aircraft carriers in the last patch, they didn’t have to wait. They just did it. But to buff them, you need to give your soul to the devil. THANK YOU, MAN !!!

i'm guessing WG don't want another Ark Royal problem with one carrier being godlike broken. tho given how graf zeppelin got way better i'm guessing the emterprise will too given time.

Maybe they found a better strategy to keep clients happy. Realising an op ship and later nerfing it, clients sorry players i mean,were unhappy. Almost everyone will buy E so realising a mediocre ship complains will be all over BUT with a nice buff 💪or a minor buff(see option 3), players will praise WG for listening them and happy end! 2nd option is to force players to buy a commander in the near future with better abilities like increase ap damage( more sales). 3rd option Do first and second! Damn i should change my job and become sales manager 😂😂😂

The people that gave Enterprise 2700 damage on her bombs is probably on drugs or they don’t know her legendary history
