Fist of Five Ancestors...Wu Chu Chuan or Wuzuquan (Mandarin pronounciation) also called Ngo Chor Kun (if pronounced in Hokkien/Fujian dialect)...this is the origin of Okinawa Goju Ryu. There are many books out there supporting this and a lot of the older Goju Ryu senseis acknowledge this. During Japanese nationalism...they tried to distance themselves as being different but in the end, you can't erase historical documents and etc with lineage. It is wonderful to see this karate practitioner embarking on a journey to search for the source and origin of an art he passionately loves. At the end of the day, martial arts is a battle of yourself and to yourself. It is a pugilistic way of life to better yourself both physically, mentally and spiritually.
Although I agree with your assessment of Chinese influence on Japanese; and Korean, Vietnamese, Thai systems of defence, there arises another question. Who, or what, are the 5 Ancestors? Was it out of respect to 5 elders, landmarks in China, or perhaps a Buddhist concept of 5 that made its' way into Ancient China?
@aussiemate8599

I had a friend years ago, that went to Malaysia and he had pursued a guy who taught him iron palm. At first I thought it was an exaggeration, but then I saw his hand, and saw him break hard concrete and stone. I also got hit by his hand, and it was like taking a sledge hammer to the head. However, I can't believe this isn't harmful to the body overall.

The Fist Lawyer. Well this is the base requirement to practice Wuzu Quan. They’ve got moves and practice just like any other martial arts. Just imagine a fist with this hardness punches the spaces between your ribs. Or snap your finger. Or a direct punch to testicles or use fingers to pierce through eyes. Lots of Chinese materials are not known to the world, thus they have not developed. Which also means they aim to kill, not to beat enemy who is with or without weapon. Normals bones wouldn’t take one hit from a staff/club wielded. This person apparently can, and strike back.
