REAL ID in Illinois: Why you'll soon need a different form of ID to board a plane in the US
Come next year, your regular old Illinois driver’s license won’t be enough to get you through TSA security at the airport. Instead, you’ll need what’s called a REAL ID. NBC Chicago’s Kye Martin reports.

We don't know who is coming in the country but the citizens of this country needs an id with a star on it....... Besides the obvious problems with people needing to have STARS. THIS goes against three of our constitutional rights. Pursuit of happiness. Freedom to travel. And not allowing the state to enforce licenses. Am I wrong to think any of those are being taken away?
Why do we need I.D.s anymore? Non U.S. residents do not need one so why do I?

$8 isn't much of a squeeze and it doesn't cost any extra when renewing your ID, so no big problems. Let's worry about these crooks trying to make citizens pay special tax to drive in Manhattan or downtown Chicago.

So the identification card I have now is fake? Why are cops so hungry for that ID cookie if they’re no good?
