Real Estate Analyst Salary [What To Expect]

Real Estate Analyst Salary [What To Expect] // I’ve always been pretty reluctant to talk about real estate analyst salaries on this channel because analyst pay can vary so widely from company to company and market to market. However, I also know that pay is a really important part of work, and I were in your shoes watching this channel, I would want to know how much a does real estate analyst actually get paid?
So, in this video, I wanted to give you a better idea of what you might expect to get paid (in both salary and bonus) in your first full-time real estate analyst role within the commercial real estate industry.

Im a real estate development major who trying to see what career path I should take. You did a great job explaining and it made me realize that this major and field might not be for me. I got into this field after doing many internships and thinking that with this major I can make money and be involved in the development of cool projects. My goal was to get enough money and investment properties to fuel my passion projects but what I'm capable of doing in my job like underwriting, or building pro formas I feel like will drive me crazy just sitting on the computer. Is there any careers you suggest that are more hands on with the development that works with more comps and market analysis.

In my opinion learning the analysis part is the stepping stone for getting a job in development unless you already have a way into a company. I agree it’s pretty boring but after a few years you can move around more and have a lot of knowledge of how the developers will find and fund deals. If that’s too boring there’s always real estate sales. You will make a great living if you’re willing to put the work in and deal with clients everyday but it’s also takes time to make money in sales.

Hey Justin, I’ve been watching a lot of your videos lately and am looking to start your course.. I’ve been a real estate agent in FL for the last 5 years, I got my brokers license during quarantine and have been operating as an associate broker with my firm ever since. I’ve realized I really enjoy the research and analysis side of real estate and want to pursue a career in this area, however I essentially went right into real estate after high school and don’t have a college degree.. Do you think my experience in real estate and being able to display basic analysis & excel skills can land me a job or will I need to start classes? Thank you!
