Real DOCTOR Reacts to Science and Medicine in DR STONE | Anime Review Episode 1

Another real doctor reacting vid, this time to the most interesting MEDICINE and SCIENCE scenes in Dr Stone. Are the medical and scientific scenes accurate and could Senku really pull off all the discoveries? The most requested ANIME is DR STONE from you guys and girls. So let's dive in.
If you haven't seen Dr. Stone - it's a story (an awesome one) about an event called Petrification - where every human is turned into stone. A science-loving kid called Senku finds himself unpetrified 3700 years in the future and has to rediscover some of humanity's greatest discoveries. He is somewhat of a scientist (insert meme wink wink) and seems to have been an engineer, doctor, and physicist in some other life (my only way of explaining how much he knows!). From what I've seen the logic and science in the show are superb so far (I am halfway through season 1 so far). I can't wait to finish season 1 and get on the much anticipated season 2 of Dr Stone.
The main areas we discuss in this video are the use of ethanol in medicine (episode 1). It was used as an antiseptic and also as an anesthetic (to help numb pain). We will also look at the cervical nerve which is the nerve Senku is struck across in Episode 5. We will look at what damage to this nerve can look like in real life and some of the anatomy and physiology around this. Lastly, we will be looking at CPR that Senku receives after he is struck in the neck and learn about a better technique to give effective resuscitation.
Hope you guys enjoy this break-down of Dr. Stone (episode 1-5), I will be sure to do a few more if you guys really like it or if you want me to do an episode by episode more in-depth deep dive then drop me a message telling me on here or Instagram and I will be sure to do it.
If you are new here, welcome, I'm Doctor Khalid and I will teach you medicine and science through awesome entertaining shows and anime. I would love for you to stay for future episodes (with even worse jokes!) 📥 SUBSCRIBE ... hit the BELL 🔔 bit.ly/3pZFz6O

@@doctorkhalid based on the views on this video and the comparison to your subscribers, i think most of them are not interested in anime. if you are going to make a lot of anime related videos, then i suggest you to make a new channel. if you only make it occasionally, then i think you don't need to make a new channel. btw i like the way you explain about medical science with your sense of humor.

Hey, is there any protection built for gps against false accusations yet, I’ve seen multiple cases spanning many years that gps go through, and particularly hard to prove since it’s in a private area. Thanks
