    I would assume the copper causes the epoxy to set faster due to heat transfer. Either the copper is drawing heat out of the curing epoxy or it is drawing heat from ambient temp to heat up the epoxy slightly faster than normal.

    That is the cheapest one they make and I hate to say... it really does make a world of difference.

    @@BenVanKirk I'll have to stick to the inexpensive sanders. Festool is ridiculously priced. Definitely not for the hobbyist.
