Dr. Lori also appraises a turquoise and silver necklace marked "900" and a Murano #glass vase. Plus, see the bronze sculpture by artist John Jagger that was clearly marked and missed by the thrift store. Someone only paid $5.99 for it. It could have been you who found it! As soon as I saw the art work, I gasped, 'It's a Dufy!', no it can't be...........yes, it is. BINGO! somebody hit the jackpot. Congratulations.

Dr. Lori, I very recently discovered your channel and can I just say; please don’t listen to those who don’t get your east coast directness. It’s part of what makes you amazing and so fun to watch. I’m originally from New York so I get you. Please don’t let the snowflakes ever even give you PAUSE. I think you’re great. ❤ I’m trying to hone my own skills now, thanks exclusively to you. You’re an inspiration and that is everything.

I agree with you Dr Lori people base their price off Ebay instead of doing their homework.
Love it!!!!! And the fact the Defy artwork was saved from the trash ! Way to go ! Absolutely awesome !
Love your videos Dr Lori. Thank you for all the information.
The cat and brooch are great!
Ty Dr Lori!...Happy Sun🌞day to you...🙏💜✨
That pin or broach IS " TOO" BEAUTIFUL!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉
❤ Dr. Lori you are stupendous. Thank you.
Thank you for all the work you do to help us find treasures. You're the best and I'm signing up for another class but can't decide between a painting I found in the trash or a bronze and ivory faced Victorian dressed lady. I think it's a hand held dinner bell but it's missing the clapper if it's a bell. The underside has wear, where a clapper may have hit when it was rung.. I might pick that one because you'll know what it is and I trust you 100%.
Another excellent "Real Bargains" by Dr. Lori!! I'm gathering my goodies to run by you Dr. Lori before selling them for less than their worth! Great storytelling, I felt like I was right there! And thanks as always for such fun & valuable information! :)
I am jealous for the Raoul Dufy. Beautiful work too. 🤩
Thanks for all the useful information and fun.
Thank you Dr. Lori. You are amazing!
Love these valuable finds. So much fun. Congrats to all the lucky people.

Hi I’ve been binge watching your shows. I love you going to the thrift stores & sharing information about specific items. My husband & I used your video service before with the painting that was hung in the Tate museum and we were about ready to donate some other paintings when you advised us they were worth a lot more than we had thought. I learn so much watching you. I love your show.
Thank for a great vlog and a the advice.
Great stories!! That artwork was pretty cool ❤

I love all the brass!!!!
Awesome. Enough said.
I bought a condiment jar for $1.50 at a thrift shop and I knew it had to be Waterford because it was very white crystal, very heavy, and inticately cut. So i spent about a month going over it with a jewelry loop looking for the Waterford signature . I was about to quit but one last search and I found it on the bottom edge so well cut into the design faceted edge that you had to tilt it just right to see it. I forget the pattern name but it is one of the most expensive patterns. It has so many facets cut into it that it shimmers like a diamond when you move it. The only thing is it didn't have the crystal little spoon that went with it .
Thank you for another great educational video!😊

Dr.Lori I’m a new watcher of your videos. I heard you say don’t count on eBay or other resell sites to find out the real value of a jewelry piece. So I’m new to this as I’m sure others are too. So where does one go to find the actual value or the history of the maker or the piece. Could you please mention something about that in one of your future videos. And just wanted to say , I’ve been binge watching your videos , you are a great speaker and teacher. I thank you for making these videos for people like myself . Thank you so much !

NYC flooded basement apartment+careless clean up crew = $40,000 painting in the trash
A Lori, no wonder you love that our glass green. Vase? It's just like you have that hour glass figure l o l😅 ❤LOVE FROM CANADA
Employees in thrift stores hide merchandise all the time. Because they aren't allowed to buy it immediately. They have to wait a 2, 3 or 4 day period. That's why it worth digging in odd areas. I found a brand new jewelry box for $19.00 because someone rat holed it in the junky man tool area.

If a glass piece isn't marked, how can you tell the specific artist, much less the fact that it's Murano? I try to identify pieces, but I'm just not good at it yet!

@Dr. Lori ❓Hello! Thanks for the video. Question: is it safe to say, generally, that any WEISS brooch that is roughly the size of the one you reviewed in this video would be worth AT LEAST $150? Thank you
