Another misleading performance video. Only in magic can you sell something completely different to what you're showcasing. Check your ethics at the door.

​@@ekramul007 The picking of the card being left out, but making it seem like the spectator simply made one up in her mind during the shown part of the performance. The same way the video uploaded just 2 days ago (a Jedi Mind Trick) shows only the (less likely) most ideal outcome of the trick.

Definitely not an ethical choice - just a mistake. We post many full performances on this channel, like we did just a few days ago. So we were on autopilot when we uploaded this. But you're absolutely right, there is a selection process BEFORE the video kicks in - and for that reason we are happy to change the title to 'performance' and not 'full performance' :)

​@@ellusionist Glad you changed the title, but to me it's still unethical. You're purposefully cutting out the selection procedure for the sole reason of making it look more impossible on video. Fine if it's just for social media, but you're selling a product, and buyers won't be getting what they're seeing here. The title of the trick is also slightly misleading. It's CAAN, not ACAAN.

i have it. it is direct (not as direct as what you see....but VERY close) and with ben's comments it is great. for me, its the best acaan

Will these two projects be available as downloads in the future. I don’t want to deal with shipping - and the kickstarter looks to include physical goods. (Though the wood hand looks cool)

Maybe. But downloads are open to being ripped off quickly or exposed for pennies on the dollar. One weapon we have against that is to make physical items that you need to get in order to get the value from them.

@@ellusionist I understand what you mean. Both Unreal 1 & 2 project looks great to me, so those as digital only products would be fantastic - as they just require a deck of cards. It’s sad that rip offs happen, I hope the magic community can come together and stop this kind of behavior.

Most impressive thing about this is the shuffle - what random spectator can shuffle cards like that whilst standing!?! And without wanting to be too critical I'd also suggest its a CAAN and not an ACAAN...

@@coryblack4917 I could see how this could be a thought of card but then the magician has to handle the deck for a moment. That ruins any ACAAN even if the spectator gets to shuffle because there is NO motivation to go through the deck - unless...

@@UnbiasedMagicReviews I wasn't even going to get into the touch on the deck just before the reveal, the tricks not for me I get that, I don't think I'd learn anything new from it. Curious to see the solution to the indexing I suppose, but several ways to do it. My point was just about CAAN/ACAAN - I don't know, if it's an already named card, surely that just becomes a CAAN.

@@coryblack4917 Not if the person freely thought of it and just named it. Like so many other tricks with a named card you can just cull it while making any remark about how mixed up the deck is or how they could have named any card. I'm in the camp where an ACAAN has to appear like you did not manipulate the deck once the card or number is named or else the magic is lost.

This is not a full performance….

It’s not prior the spectator choose before the videos started a card from the deck

Doesn't seem like a full performance to me. Aren't we missing the first few moments where the spectator selects a card?;)

You're 100% right. We were in auto on the upload. So we always right 'full performance' but there was a selection process before this video kicks in that isn't show. So it's not full, it's just 'a performance' of what the spectator experiences.
