@@tobsonasanya4765 Oh absolutely. Despite him being an objectively evil character, I think there are many people who see Rick's character flaws as very relatable. That's just incredibly worrying when that character's toxicity makes them so unappealing. Or when their behaviours don't even come from a place of self-serving manipulation, but just being as cruel as possible for entertainment? I don't entirely want to relate to that. I suppose I do have to admit that Rick is an antihero, so a lot of us will naturally relate to him. I just see him as far too detached to really say "I see my problems in Rick." JCS mentioned the "glimmer of hope" once, and it being essential to the antihero's character. I suppose that's my issue with him. I just don't see that in Rick. Reagan definitely offers that through more relatable traumas. Parents that don't respect or appreciate you, or even the emotional manipulation from Rand. Those are far more relatable than most of Rick's problems, which are usually caused by his own unrelatable intellect. And of course the glimmer of hope is on display when she supports her team with their issues, while Rick... Is less than happy to do stuff like that, to say the least. And while she still has the easy grab antihero goals ("I want to make the whole world like this" and "Everyone wants to take over the world!" for example), she still has visible career and life goals that the average person relates to, but are pretty absent in Rick as a character.

I mean, that’s what makes Brett endearing compared to most “EVERYBODY LOVES THIS GUY” types of characters that people tend to dislike. Aside from being a genuinely nice guy, we get to see the heavily flawed aspect of him that we can empathize with to an extent. It isn’t a one and done trait with him either; it’s a consistent flaw that improves with time, but is still an essential part of who he is and, like most traits, is visibly damaged from multiple angles. While he finally got comfortable at work, he still represses that he’s the second most disliked member of the Hand family (the most being unknown to Brett for a while is rather concerning.) It’s in spite of the constant abuse, he rolls with the punches and persists to the idea that there’s good and positivity in everyone. In the first season finale, he wants to give everyone the benefit of the doubt and was the most reluctant on persecuting Reagan. In the second finale, he hesitates on pulling off the foil hat, even if he knows there’s a good chance he’d be better off in this reality and had no logical reasoning to sticking around. He values other people more than himself, which was why Reagan didn’t give him the choice and pulls it off for him. In a related note, that’s why they are the best of friends. When they’re together Reagan learns to soften up and Brett learns to toughen up. These two view each other in ideation, wishing they could be more like them, but the truth is that they are constantly learning from each other.

The asperger thing is weird. From someone on the spectrum no it doesn’t get worse the older you become. The “NO” situation was surprisingly relatable however. Sometimes sarcastic voices become hard to distinguish the intent of, so props for that. Aspergers is a social disorder, not dependent on intelligence, a lot of people interpret that to mean that we’re robots but I feel that I have about as much intelligence, if not less, than the average person. 1:56 "a set of bio-cranial robot arms that will increase my productivity 600%" Reagan could have said that her arms increased her productivity *300%,* because she now has three pairs of arms instead of one pair of arms. Reagan could have said that her arms increased her productivity *500%,* because each of the four additional hands is as prehensile as her dominant hand, giving her five equally dominant hands. One explanation is that Reagan was sleep-deprived enough for her brain to put together _"I have SIX arms now, so it must be an increase of SIX hundred percent!"_ Another explanation that Reagan is ambidextrous, and is saying she now has six limbs of equal function. Of course, she could have simplified _2 arms->6 arms_ as _1 pair->3 pairs_ and said "300%", but again, she's probably sleep-deprived.

Going from 1 to 3 is not a 300% increase. It’s a 200% increase. You don’t include the 1 that already exists. Therefore if you increase productivity by 100% you double it or “twice the output” and therefore 200% is triple, 300% is 4x and so on. Reagan is also wrong in this respect then.

Literally the only things wrong with this show is that it still uses the term Asperger's, and that the team members that aren't Reagan or Brett don't get enough time to shine.

Love season 2 for that, you get so much of Gigi to the point where she does get more screentime just as a person like in the first ep where it shows her insecurities over not getting a job at the Illuminati, or just throughout the whole season as she acts as Reagan's gal pal.

Honestly the bigger problem is that it's played as a joke in that she's initially called out by her asshole mother, winds up reading as an insult rather than a descriptor.

As someone who has Asperger's, I can agree that Reagan probably has Asperger's too, mainly because JR's line, "you are so smart, but your people skills, woof!", describes me perfectly.
