the hotel one was in the prior update and the container with starving people is in, just that in the game there is only one person inside, then when you see the swats in the woods, it might be the mission recently added in the last patch where you fight with 2 veterans in a cabin.

The hotel mission is going to be in the game (got removed but it's just being reworked atm), the human trafficking mission is in the game, the mission in the woods is in, and the school mission was just confirmed recently to be coming eventually

As a game that's super early in development, I'm already intrigued. There's something comforting about the dark themes being portrayed along with Bach playing in the background. It stands out among so many other trailers. Even if the game turns out awful, this trailer alone is mighty more interesting than trailers even for AAA games.

i suspect this trailer is at least partially influenced by evangelion your observations at the dissonance between the horrific imagery and the calm music mirror many thoughts on the end of evangelion. not to forget too that it also uses Air II in similar scene.

siege is based off of anti terrorist units around the globe and all you do is breach the same maps with basically the same objective all the time. This game looks story driven and way more realistic in that it shows the reality of the world.

It almost feels surreal. I'm so jaded at this point, with the likes of Siege getting undeserved praise, that I'm still hesitant even about this. But it feels like we finally got what we were waiting for.

This is the most amazing trailer ive seen in a while for a game, really messes with your emotions, seeing the guy bleed out on the ground, the dead kid, the phone vibrating at the school etc

Rewatching this trailer now, many years later and being older... 0:49 hits unbelievably different. Especially when you're father, like myself. That subtle shake of his head showing low his heart sinks upon not feeling a pulse.

That music and that 'knock knock' sign... hmm Did anyone get reminded of movie by David Fincher called Se7en? This trailer is definitely an homage.

When you think about it, school shootings and kidnapings is quite brutal and sad as a mission. It really is a true look on the harsh reality. When you think about this part, it becomes incomparable to R6 siege.

I've played for a while now. There is an active shooter situation mission where there are 2-3 armed men roaming a gas station and you have to neutralise them in time before they start gunning down civilians. The gunfire in the other rooms coupled with the cries for help, people hiding inside the bathrooms and running outside screaming "they're in there help us"!! only adds to the gravity of the situation. They did an amazing job

6 years later and even better than promised, Well done Void, Hats off to you.

I’m here from the future in December 2021, and this game is absolutely god tier. The gore isn’t as good as the trailer but it’s currently in early access so it’s subject to change. It’s going for 40 dollars on steam only which is a small price to pay for perfection. Easy 10/10 for its current state and potential going forward.

This is obviously a ripoff of mario world! Nobody has any creativity these days smh

Siege is a good game, but was never realistic in the first place. This games seems to go a more realistic route with the way actual SWAT Units and special force units work.

Vidal Zazueta I know why they did it I was just wondering if this game would use the same mechanics as siege or be more realistic that would be stupidly op in siege being able to aim without moving the shield. It is more realistic but unbalanced for a competitive shooter. I do hope that in ready or not they go for realism.

If this is anything close to SWAT 4 I'm sold.

I feel as if the message of this game is to teach some humility, that going in and killing some bad guys should not be seen as fun and games, judging by a school ( 0:52 ) and what seems to be an injured enemy ( 0:45 ) actually suffering after being wounded, this game will be emocional.

If you see gameplay of SWAT 4, you'll see it's pretty different from R6S, since siege doesn't have pepperspray, handheld tasers, and a bunch of other stuff. The devs posted some gameplay on their twitter, albeit short.

look up on voidinteractives website, everything they have mentioned, to map planning, realistic wounding and all that gives us the impression its going to be alot different to siege.

Playing this game makes me understand the feeling of swat soldiers when confronting dangers or harsh reality. This game is great, 100 points :))

i dont really comment on videos but i have watched this trailer 50 times already and its probably the best trailer i will ever see for a video game. The cinematogrophy in contrast with the music and what is shown ist just masterfully done i love it so much. It’s actually weird to think that I was like “Yeah sadly prob won’t come out…” and now I’ve got 200 hours into it.

I cant believe its been 6 years already, feels like just yesterday i was getting my mousepad and starting the game for the first time

I'd argue that they sold themselves short with the OG trailer, the game is visually more impressive in it's current build.

This trailer is the definition of show don’t tell. It’s masterful, shocking and beautiful all at once.

It's been over two years since the reveal, and this reveal is still haunting as fuck.

For any curious, the current build is delivering in a big way. Even convinced all my friends to purchase the supporter edition.

All these years later, and it's still up there with one of the greatest and hyping trailers, especially if you know nothing about the game or what it's about when first watching it. The immediate camera shots of the officers and their tools, then with their first contact as it starts to play Bach's "Air on the G String," and as it goes on you get imagery that keeps building that atmosphere, showing the possible, horrible situations. Then finally, that cargo crate with the trafficked women inside, and we get that last shot after of an officer sitting there in front of the flag. The things he's seen weighing on the mind, thinking about the job, about being on the force. Goosebumps for everyone who saw it for the first time, I'm sure.

The emotion of these settings is so intense. I want to go into these horrible places to save those poor npc's.

I remember watching this video the day it came out. Now I watch it at least 3 times a year.

Can't believe it's been 6 years since this was shown. It was a long wait for 1.0 coming out on December 13th. And i'd say it was totally worth it.

This is more than just a game, it is a visual representation of what our law enforcement deal with on a daily basis. It shows the reality of these peoples job and what they go through.

after waiting for all those years, i gotta say i am very pleased with how it turned out, the game mechanics are on par on what this trailer shows, i cant wait till they make more improvements and just more scenarios. Thank you for such amazing game, finally a modern day real swat simulation.

Who’s back after 1.0?🔥🔥

I’m so excited to play this. It seems to have a psycho-thriller aspect to it that seems very unique. I have a feeling it’s going to be a disturbing game simply because it will be too real with its content.

Four years later, even in early alpha, the game finally lives up to it's promises and oh boy

I like how R6 was supposed to be more tactical like this but it ended up more "fun" and goofy kind of.
