Please read history. Whole of middle east was colony of Turkey and ruthlessly exploited by them for 700 years till WW 1. After WW1 (Turkey had sided with Germany) Gulf Arab countries of Middle East and Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Jordan were established by winners of Ww1, ie., UK, France, USA and allies. Remaining territory was named Palestine by UK with the purpose of creating an Arab Muslim state and a Jewish state. In 1947, United Nations approved a partition plan with muslim majority areas forming an Arab(Palestinian) state. Israel got Jewish majority areas plus the Negev desert which nobody wanted but which they accepted. Arabs led by Egypt, Syria Jordan,etc., rejected the plan but failed to destroy the state of Israel. Gaza was absorbed by Egypt and West bank by Jordan. In WW2, the Palestinian Arabs had sided with Hitler's Germany. Wound of failure of Arabs to destroy Israel continues. Israel today has higher GDP per capita and development index than any country in the middle east.

There was no territory in history known as Palestine. In 138 A.D. the Jews had revolted against Romans and the Romans in punishment destroyed their temple and named the province Syriac -palaestina(meaning ''invaded or invader'' in latin) to humiliate the Jews who had revolted against Romans and name lasted for about 80-100 years.

It states the conditions by the British Crown under which the refugee jews were allowed to live in Palestine. One of the conditions is “‘that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-jewish communities in Palestine”. Consistently violated.
