As they should! I actually don't think Hot Toys is the be-all, end-all of toy companies but when they deliver, they DELIVER and their Carnage is a shining example of that.

The little bit of transparency on the carnage figure makes it look awesome or to me it looks a little transparent

I think this might be a solid colour, but you should check out the clear amazing yamaguchi carnage, it looks awesome!

@@andytrevino4077 they do, but given the choice between Hasbro investing in pinless limbs for the retro card Carnage (which they didn't), or a whole new body for bad movie Carnage, most people would choose the comic version. Being a Target exclusive though, maybe not.

The first figure in a long time that Hasbro has actually put some effort into

I was not expecting this and the movie overall was ok but the designs have always been great and this looks insane! Love the tendrils.

I dont think it re-uses any of Kro, Kro has a viney texture, this carnage looks completely new, has different torso articulation, and even the tentacles doesn't look re-used

Kinda wish he came with the Sword Arm not the ones he has but when he’s pointing at Venom saying “Death to you Father” he has more of a sword than a hook blade that’s one of my only complaints and I wish that they included a Cletus Kascity Head Semi-Transformed that would have been nice idk maybe they will release a double pack with Venom and include more Accessories in that in the future as a Release and brand it under Venom 3 Now all we need is a Movie Riot Figure

Wow wee! A movie Carnage after all this time? What was the motivator? I thought it would never happen. I mean sure, the sculpt is cool, and the paint is, well, Hasbro quality, but it's quite a bit late, huh?

As a huuuuuge carnage collector, I’m buying 2 no matter the price lol but I think you’re correct at the $55-60 range. Anything less I will be pleasantly surprised. This is a dope looking figure even though he’s not my ideal carnage.

Didn’t think they were gonna go this hard on this figure.

I'm picking it up either way but I think it'll be closer to the recent Green Goblin.

The Surtur figure was about $55, but that was at least 12" tall. That price was too high, but at least it was big.

If you compare this figure to the NWH green goblin and doc oc, they are quite similar as deluxe figures. I’m predicting that he’ll be closer to their price points. I think that would be quite reasonable.

I mean to be fair you didn’t really see Carnage’s Back up close in the film that much he was facing forward most of the movie and if you did it was in a scene that was pitch black so personally I don’t care if it’s painted I think the tendrils make up for the just plain back

This will make a great monster figure for a variety of displays or dioramas. Hasbro needs to be careful to not make it a Hasbro Pulse exclusive.

I haven't been collecting figures for a few years now but when i saw this i was hard set on getting. Untill you said how much it would probably cost. Just now realizing that inflation has even affected action figures. But venom on my self be looking lonely soooo???

The only other marvel legends spiderman movie villains that we need are green goblin and rhino from the amazing spiderman 2, shocker from spiderman homecoming, riot from the venom movie.

Hasbro's doing bendy wire. Mcfarlane it doing wired capes and giving figures matching pairs of alternate hands. Mafex is doing rereleases. Clearly it's the end times. Looks great. A bicep swivel and lower torso ball joint articulation would have been nice though. Then is at most a $40 figure. Wider released figure and we got bendy wires with figures under $40. They can do $40 or less here. Especially if they aren't going to paint the back.

I know they won't do it, but we need a Marvel Legends Ultimate Venom figure but with the reused body mold of the riot figure. I mean we got the Ultimate Spider-Man figure and the Ultimate Captain America figure.

Seems ML is catching up to the premiere brands, Definitely closing the gap with the mid tier (with those being around the $100 price point) ML needs to follow suit with the added accessories. Obviously they have been lacking in that department big-time. But this one is fantastic... I'd buy 2 at the $35 without a doubt n then wonder: should I keep one new and one on display (looks that nice) And I could afford that... or gift the other? They (legends) has got us coming back for more. Hopefully this is the new standard!! Let em know @Shartimus that we expect more accessories and it would be even better with display stands as well (like the ol' toybiz ones) I still prefer some of those because nothing else better was made, Why? Thats a great question for them. Anyway love the channel and all you do, Much love n nothing but the best to you n the family. 😎

The only thing that has me hesitating is how much its reminding me of the AY Carnage and what a mess it was. Chances are when the customs come out it will be the holy fucking shit need to have it figure like what people did with movie Venom. Given the likely high price point will hold off since the Venompool Carnage a few years ago is still one of the best figures they made.

Now give us an updated, pinless Venom from this movie universe, Hasbro.

The Venom movies are personally the best Spiderman Sony spin-off solo movies despite not even including Spider-Man in them because I personally wanted Andrew Garfield to continue as Spider-Man but in the MCU and then probably be in Sony's Spin-off movie universe, Oh well.

$35 to $40 would be reasonable, even though that price range is till too high.

A shame that both the movie Venom and Carnage don't have butterfly joints, such a miss-opportunity.

@@immortalslayer90 the face paint on the shf carnage is disappointing compared to the promo images and reveal the promos have more detail while the actual face looks like some apple barrel paint it’s mainly the colors that’s the issue the teeth look way too yellow and look cheap and black paint is so faded it just looks like the face is full on red

@@immortalslayer90 we all have our own opinions so thats completely fine the only issue both have is the tendrils leave holes in the back if you don’t have them on I feel like picking which one is better is like the ml scarlet spider vs mafex scarlet spider argument it really comes down to affordability , accessories , detail , maybe articulation , and preference

this better not be a PLUS exclusive, they really suck at restocking their exclusives. once its gone you have to pay over prices retaliers to get it.

Why does this kinda look better than the sh figurearts version

Finally mentioned that this interpretation of Carnage wasnt the one we were hoping for. I hate this movie for what it did wrong with the characters. But not the worst Marvel movie. There definitely worse out there.
