owned this car for 3 years now, quite frankly, it's something special. The first 6 months required 2 quarts of oil on it's first oil warning from bimmer(yes i shoved 2 quarts; 2L in less freedom units) but this car is bullet proof but that was it. i Owned 2 f85 x5m's, one f10, one f90 m5, one m4 and one b6 but this car hasn't had any problems at all. The exhaust never gets you pulled over, you can roll at 100mph and brake with those glamorous 16" rotors or whatever alpina fitted this thing with. Honestly this is the greatest sleeper, as the Den J stated that the tranny is laggy ofc it is. The tranny is quite laggy as it isn't a duo clutch like the m4/f10 m5 i had. I'd rather live with the confidence of the proper AWD that bimmer offers than with the janky duo.

Hello can you please explain how much does the car differs in the different driving modes?

I’m starting to love this car

the price premium over a bmw is obvious, as well as the performance, but what about reliability? in the end, if you will buy it for the fine leather, then it would be a real shame to be stuck with just the leather.

Dear Alpina Marketing people: your cars are fantastic. Your video footage is good. But sorry, your connaisseur/individualist “model” girl is not fitting the bill. She is far away from your target group. The English translation also has some flaws, for example: “Um diese Leistung darzustellen” is NOT “to provide this service”. So, please, put a little more professionalism into those videos, if you really want to conquer the non-German markets. You wouldn’t cover your gorgeous Lavalina seats with holes in them either, would you?

Got this car couple months ago, overall a great car but felt like the 8 speed transmission a bit laggy when downshifting as well as the front windshield is too narrow and affected the visibility a lot.
