I used to drag books home a lot when I was young. Conveniently the library was on the way between home and school, so I used to go there often. A hundred books in a year easily, plus all those that I had at home. Rereading all my favorites. Right now I am both listening and reading the Lord of the Rings (Andy Serkis is an amazing reader!), and I hope that during my little Midsummer holiday I get to bury my nose in a book like I used to. Audiobooks are a nice way to help in a reading slump, along with these sorts of videos :)

Omg I lovveee Beach Read and The Summer of Broken Rules they are some of my favorite summer reads! People We Meet on Vacation is my all time favorite Emily Henry book, and I've read all of hers. It stole my heart! I love hearing about the books you are reading or want to read. I would love to see more videos like this! I'm currently re-reading We Were Liars by E. I just ordered the Atomic Habits book. This totally inspired me to get my life back on track with one little habit at a time, starting with getting out of my book slump!! This was great, thank you queen. Also definitely considering getting a Kindle because I related to the troubles you talked about.

I love reading so much as well! I read the books the summer of broken rules and the summer I turned pretty and I thought they were pretty good. I’m currently reading the Hush Hush saga and it’s a bit of a different genre then these books in this video but it it pretty good! For more summer reads recs I think Jenny Hans other series to all the boys I loved before is a very easy and cute read. ❤

Yes, I would love more videos like this 📖 I loved reading Malibu Rising as well, and I would recommend Uncanny Valley by Anna Wiener if you like narrative memoirs to change up your genre. For fantasy, I’d recommend The Lord of the Rings books and The fellowship of the Rings, and especially Kindred by Octavia Butler. Love this content and u 💞💞 Looking forward to more ✨

you should read The Selection series! very satisfying reads that are definitely romance but dip a toe into fairytale/dystopian. they're also getting a netflix adaptation :)

currently in a book slump as well! but i’m reading Maybe in another life by TJR, it’s an easy read so that’s been helping me get back into it!!

The summer I turned pretty is such a good book I do agree that the show and the books are pretty different. Team Conrad in the books and team jerimah in the show. Love you Kenna!❤
