I would live to but the town I live in is so TINY that there's no library. Ya'll are lucky😭 Also buying used books on this app called Pango can help save money too if anyone else doesn't have as library like me.

I literally just put The Dead Romantics on hold at the library. Great minds think alike. I am finally getting back to reading City of Ghosts and I think this might turn out to be my favorite of V.E Schwab. I am slowly reading An Ember In The Ashes. My tbr next month is The Serpent and the Wings of Night, Powerless, City of Ghosts, and The Final Empire. My hopeful reads are City of Brass, The Dead Romantics, Keeper of the Lost Cities #5, and Amari and the Great Game. Happy reading!

I haven’t read any other books in the Swordheart “world” and did not feel lost at all when I read it. It was a library borrow for me as well. I wasn’t super crazy about it but will pick up the other books in that world eventually

T Kingfisher has a romantasy series called the Saint of Steel that is also set in the same world as swordheart, the stories are adjacent to one another so there are familiar characters but you don't need to be caught up to read them! I would recc reading Paladin's Grace if you end up liking swordheart!

Currently I am reading city of ghost 👍☕

I have never read fantasy before so I started with Fourth Wing and I'm 100 pages in and it's very good!..anymore recommendations for fantasy? I love Dragons so that's what kind of read I'm looking for. The last book I read last month was The Once and Future Witches by Alix E H arrow which for me was perfectly written about witches..super satisfying for me. I haven't read a book I liked as much since. I read Half a Soul..cute but didn't love..legends and lattes..again cute but didn't love. So I'm hoping Fourth Wing will be great and a Part of me.

Ok, so, if you love dragons I'd suggest "His Majesty Dragon" or "Fireborn" . Since you liked The Once And Future Witches, I would also suggest "Her Majesty's Royal Coven" maybe? These are the first that came to mind, I hope it helps

i think it can probably be read as a standalone! there aren't any major plot cliffhangers at the end of the first book or anything, maybe just some relationship things that are left a bit open ended!💗

The Dead Romantics and all of Ali Hazelwood’s books focus on how large the man is because they’re all based off of their reylo fics HDJDJJD so they’re describing Adam Driver, who is a very large man 😂
