Truly my favorite video I’ve ever seen on the internet. The nostalgia, the joy, the laughs and of course the most adorable and “goodest”dog in the whole world!! I was about to fall asleep and now I’m hyped up and wondering if there’s a series on my shelves I should binge read right now. I genuinely think this video will help me reach my most self-actualized self and encourage me to become a more joyful person because of the childlike joy just radiating out of this vlog!! PLEASE DO MORE READATHONS!!!! I SAW THE ENTIRE 35 MINUTES AND DIDN'T EVEN REALISE IT!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS VIDEO AND INSTANTLY SUBSCRIBED!!!!!!!

In the US the books were called princess diaries, princess in the spotlight, princess in love... can’t remember after that. Never knew they were named differently in other countries!

I just heard about the adult Princess diaries book and have been thinking about reading it as it was one of my favourite series as a teenager. Glad it still holds up! The 3am-3am seems to work much better for you or maybe it was because you had a buddy 👍 Btw FYI I read the ones with the covers like your give me five edition

ok update: i did read the first book today (it was hilarious) and in my version (which i think is the american one) it says she has size ten shoes - so i guess they converted the shoe size for the uk edition? which i thought it was interesting

This might be the best video that I have ever seen in my whole entire life. I binge read all these books last year when I was sick and when I told my friends about it, I felt so judged 😂. Wish I had a sister like yours to enjoy the experience with xx

Aww I've only just come across it and I loved it. So nostalgic. I'm 6 years older than my sister but I gave her all my Princess Diaries books to read when she was a preteen. I don't think I ever finished the series but not sure where I stopped. As you were going though I kept saying to myself "okay this is where I stopped" but then you'd mention something that I remembered. Thanks for the nostalgia

I read this book series at age 7-9 and I still have them. I got them from our local vinnnies (An Australian Catholic op shop) and they were the ones with the cover that you showed like take five and after eight.

They all had titles that began with "Princess.")

I loooooved those books when I was a teenager, those and the Angus, thongs series were a MAJOR inspiration for all of my diaries written between 11 and 18 (i wrote like 9 diaries in that span of time). I always wrote like i was very sassy, which i wasnt, so most of the entries just sound mean, i sometimes made stuff up about other people to make the diaries more interesting if they would be published at one point in my life (which i was sure about that it would happen, since i wanted to be a famous actor or writer). The books are called like this in Germany: 1: Suddenly a Princess! 2: Power, Princess! 3: Princess looking for Prince 4: Your performance, Princess! 5: Princess in Pink 6: The stage is yours, Princess! 7: Party Princess 8: Don't Panic, Princess! 9: So embarrassing, Princess! 10: Your Prince of Hearts, Princess! SO weird that not all of these have an exclamation point in the end...

Also I read them with the same covers as your first reading (the it takes two etc titles). I didnt even know they changed???? Why?? I adore the Princess Diaries series and have re-read them as an adult and think they still hold up. Reading them was the first time I understood how a book could be funny -from word choice to paragraph structure - they were all tools in landing a joke or moment that made you laugh out loud. Please do another video on the final book when Mia is an adult!
