Once Upon a Broken Heart was the reason I turned from a Romance girly to a heavy Fantasy reader. I love the series so much. I have read the series after the caraval series cause at the time I didn't know it existed. It makes much more sense and ✨butterflies ✨ reading after caraval but obviously YOU DON'T HAVE TO . Loved ur vlog as always

technically, you will understand once upon a broken heart if you dont read the caraval series first. however, there is so much information in the caraval books that makes ouabh so much better. jacks is a pretty significant character in two of the books, and the fates are really important. also, ouabh and tbona have a couple major finale spoilers, so if you want to read both its better to start with caraval. anyway, im so glad you enjoyed ouabh and tbona!!! those books are great

@@user-wj7ce3cn5g No. They take place in the same universe, but essentially reading the Caraval trilogy won't affect you if you read the OUABH trilogy (and vice versa)

I just finished reading the ballad of never after YESTERDAY NIGHT and I'm OBSESSED!!!!! I'm so happy you loved it too, can't wait til october!! 😭 Also, I really recommend reading the Caraval series before reading Once Upon A Broken Heart, because there are so many spoilers about Donatella and Jacks!

No because I felt the EXACT same feelings towards ACOMAF, it took me forever to get through because I was angry that the Tamlin I loved wasn’t the same person I loved and I was angry at Feyre for running away and etc. etc. but I loved the world Sarah J. Maas created and I loved the side characters and the found family. I haven’t read the third book yet because I’m not ready 🙈

I just recently started reading fantasy books! I haven’t read one since Harry Potter first came out! I started with Fourth Wing, then the first book of A Court of Thorns and Roses. Now I bought Iron Flame, and then I plan on reading A Court of Mist and Fury, etc. next!

I definitely agree and wish I read the Caravel Series before I read OUABH and TBONA. I read those two first and then went right into Caravel. I still have Finale to read. I highly recommend the audiobooks if you enjoy audiobooks.

fantasy is my absolute favorite genre! i think my adhd is partly responsible bc my brain just moves so fast and needs to constantly be stimulated/engaged. fantasy books have so many moving parts which grabs my attention. greek mythology is my favorite fantasy subtopic! i love the whole percy jackson universe + circe by madeline miller. i highly recommend u read circe! the author is currently writing a book abt persephone.

I've got so many favourite fantasy books that I love so I'll go by series. The throne of glass series is really good (and it's by Sarah J. Maas as well). I also love the Zodiac academy series (though that is unfinished and there are so many books in it).

i love the acotar series! my all time favorite fantasy series! my all time favorite series is “boys of tommen” by chloe walsh. i have not read once upon a broken heart, idk whether i should or not. ilyyyy ❤

Details like the letter can appear on a kindle, but they won't probably feel comfortable on a 6" device (or smaller); maybe on the kindle oasis or the new kindle scribe which is huge. There are some concepts like text books, page borders and strange paragraph arrangements (like in the House of Leaves book) that only look good on a PDF, and kindles are weak when it comes to handling PDFs.

If anyone DOES want to read Caraval because of Once Upon a Broken Heart then this is the recommended order to do it so because it makes more sense chronologically: *The Caraval Trilogy* Caraval (Book #1) Legendary (Book #2) Finale (Book #3) BUT. WAIT. Only finish up to *Chapter 15* in Finale and then pick up *Once Upon a Broken Heart* and finish up to *Chapter 5* there. Then go back and officially finish the *rest of Finale.* It makes more sense this way because we know what Jacks was up to the whole time he was away from the group. And we see him meet Evangeline :D And NOW we can finish Once Upon a Broken Heart. *The Once Upon a Broken Heart Series* Once Upon a Broken Heart (Book #1) The Ballad of Never After (Book #2) A Curse for True Love (Book #3)

Having exams but as soon as they are over i'm definately going to read all these fantasy and romance bookss!!!!!!

You don’t have to read Caraval to read the once upon a broken heart books but I would really recommend it because I just feel like you would understand Jacks’ character so much better and just makes it a better experience imo but if you really don’t want to I guess it’s fine if you don’t

10:35 this is the reason I hated the end of book 2. We made progress just to unmake progress in like 5 pages😭😭😭 I also had to wait like 3 months to talk about with my mom bc she didn’t have time to read it till then but my poor dad heard AALLLLL about that ending. Honestly think I traumatized him with all my feelings on the book
