I have not been able to describe Colleen Hoover’s writing in one word before but you summed it up PERFECTLY. “Cliché” is exactly how I would put it.

Honestly I just read 1 book by her called UGLY LOVE seriously hated it so much for numerous reasons that I couldn't bring myself to pick up any other book!

I recently read 3 Colleen Hoover books It ends with us, ugly love and November 9 and I absolutely love her writing and the story.

i have cried a lot to CH'S books, the only books i haven't read is reminders of him and Layla. i will be reading them soon though

I completely agree with your thoughts on It Ends With Us.

I've heard mixed things about her books. I have yet to read any but maybe this video will help me make a decision on that I also don't trust Tik Tok (but I trust you) and a few other booktubers I watch really didn't like her books, so we'll see how it goes 😂

I hate colleen hoovers books . It's so icky and cliched. A 16 year old would absolutely love her books. I wouldn't say that for a 23 year old.

It lets you rate Characters, Atmosphere, Writing, Plot, Intrigue, Logic and Enjoyment and then it gives you the average star rating based on those! I have Hopeless and Losing Hope by CH and I've been trying to build the courage to pick it up. Im aware of the TW and they don't bother me but I hear mixed reviews on her writing through these more popular books.

I've been reading Colleen since 2015 and it's both cool and nerve-wracking for me to see her blow up. I love every book, some more than others. She's also just a funny, sweet and down-to-earth person. My top favorites, in no order, are It Ends With Us, Ugly Love, Hopeless, and Maybe Someday.

My first CH book was Verity and now I’m afraid to read the others . I almost couldn’t finish Verity but I’m glad I did. Total mind F$&@

I had read 5 books of Colleen Hoover and love all 5 of them! I read Verity first then November 9, Layla, Regretting You and I recently finished Too Late.

i don't think it ends with us is the best book i've ever read, but she think the handled the topic extremely well and the author's note at the end added a lot to my reading experience

How funny, if never noticed how her characters have red hair!! I do love Colleen Hoover. My favorite book is definitely Too Late!!! Highly recommend.

All Your Perfects is my favorite CoHo book.

Her writing is incredibly readable but I really hate the character names hahah. Verity is my favorite but I loved layla a lot as well

I'm actually curious about your thoughts on her book Maybe Someday. I read it a few years ago and it was the first of her books I read. It caught me by surprise because there was something about one of the characters that was unique and I just really hadn't expected it at all. I really enjoyed it but didn't like her other books that much. I hope you can read it someday.

I’ve never cried so hard as I did for All Your Perfects. Read it in 5 hours on a plane and my seat mate was like what is wrong with you but I couldn’t help but sob.

I've read 8 books from her and it's either a hit or a miss. I think most of her recent books are definitely better than her earlier releases.

Finished reminders of him and heart bones a few days ago. I really liked reminders of him. Heart bones was ok, not my fav of hers!

The tik tok break in the middle was very much appreciated

I went into IEWU not knowing that it was about domestic abuse and I think this is how you get the full effect of that book. I really understand and relate to how she was confused and stuck in that toxic dynamic and how difficult it was for her to break free. CH did a very good job getting the reader completely invested in the abusive character first and experiencing the push and pull in Lily of empathizing with him and trying to protect herself. The only part that I completely couldn't accept is *SPOILER* how she at the end continued letting him see the daughter?

Colleen Hoover books hit different I love them sm🙌🏻

I've read 5 of her books. I ABSOLUTELY LOATHE It Ends With Us and I didn't like Confess that much. I love Ugly Love and Verity. And I like Without Merit.

I'd like to hear your thoughts and opinions on her other books you haven't read yet.

I read one CH and decided that was enough lol. Maybe I'll try one of the more popular books in the future, but for now, I think she's just not my style...

I love how you keep holding the books at the end saying you have still 4 to read when there is 5 😆. Anyway, I listened to novembre 9, confess and maybe someday and maybe now and I have mixed feelings too : addictive writing even translated in french but weird clichés

Usually when an author is super hyped up, I end up not enjoying their books. The only Colleen Hoover book I quite enjoyed was 'Finding cinderella" but it has some flaws. It's a novella. 'Hopeless' did not really effect me in any way. So maybe I will leave her books alone for now.
