Scale Rail Ray here. I'm enamored with ALL "dome" style trains. In 1951 my grandmother took me on a first class VIP trip from Seattle to Chicago on a Vista Dome. Grandpa had been the head of the Rock Island Line Mail Sorters Union from its inception. All the workers eventually belonged to both the Rail Road Workers Union and the Mail Sorters Union. The trip was sponsered by the Mail Sorters. I got a tour of the entire train. I was 5 years old and I still remember most of the journey. Thanks for your video.

Very cool Budd car tour and Reading run session. I have some Baltimore & Ohio RDCs that I took some videos of yesterday, they're MPC.

Hey, Ray, great review of your new Budd Cars! I really enjoyed your tour of the real cars, that was super cool. Big shoutouts to both Joe and Russ! The models look great, Ray, perhaps they just need a few passengers. I'm really glad you were able to pick them up. Awesome seeing them running on the club layout. Those SD50's looked really sharp too! Bill B.

Excellent video once again.😊The Budd cars look brilliant. The running session at the end was great, the Club's layout must be gigantic! A ride on the real life Budd cars would be some experience.🚂🇬🇧

Greetings Ray. It's Joe from Binghamton again. I love love love that you brought your new Lionel RBMN Buddliners with you down to Reading! How cool is that!! I was on the first Buddliner OSJT excursion this season on 4/6 and got to meet Andy Muller who came onboard 9167 (which was running solo that day. Jamie Makin has an excellent video on it) prior to departing OS, and then afterwards I got to meet Jamie Makin and Nick and Nikki from Nix Crossing back at OS. All in all a great day! Jamie was doing quite the impressive job chasing 9167 from JT, and getting to witness her in action from inside 9167 was a real treat! The detailed tour that you got of the Buddliners at OS by the cool conductor Russ, makes this video extra special. You truly knocked this one out of the park!! When I went down to Moosic to pick up my own Lionel RBMN RDCs, I was sharing with Joe Grzyboski that I had initially heard of their store from your videos. We were both commenting on how impressive it is that you haven't been in this hobby for very long, given the knowledge and depth of your videos. I hope that your ears weren't ringing too much! ;)

Nice video, Ray. Those are super nice cars. It is cool that you went and filmed the prototypes that these are based on, especially those having the matching numbers. I've ridden a few in my time and got to run one a number of years ago. Certainly different than running a freight locomotive. Once again, an excellent video, as always.

Nice video 👍🏻 a few years back MTH was supposed to make the Reading & Blue Mountain Budd set but cancelled it do to not enough orders. I’d like to buy the Lionel version but I already bought the Reading Blue Mountain SD50 Diesel. I live in Pittsburgh but I like Reading Blue Mountain. I’m good friends with Nick. PGH Train Fanatic

Wow! Great video Ray. After watching your last two videos I decided to look up the Reading & Northern. A very successful short line AND passenger excursion operations with 320,000 passengers last year! I think you should do some videos focusing on them.

After watching your previous video on the Reading & Northern GP30 went to Grzyboski's website to check out the other custom runs. It was surprising that on the SD50 5014 it sorta looked like the engine had 3000 ILP instead of 3000 HP on the cab side. Just couldn't quite be certain that was what it said because that section of the photos wasn't in sharp focus. After watching this video with SD50 5014 running on the club layout, I am certain that is what is printed on the model's cab side. The black and grey SD50's are great looking engines, really sharp.

Well congratulations on those new aquisitions Ray! You know, I wasn't a big fan of RDCs but after watching Nick's (from "Nix Crossing) videos of the RBM&N RDCs I have to admit they kind of grow on you. I kinda-sorta want to pick up some Lionel Post-War RDCs (If I can "steal" them! 🤣) and re-mark them for the Susquehanna, but there's no rush on that. Now how cool was it you got back on Andy Muller's full scale layout AND got inside those RDCs? I'm VERY impressed with those cars! So clean you could eat off the floor in them! You can tell there's a lot of pride on the R&N! Did you know that since RDC carbodies were 100% stainless steel there's no record of any of them wearing out? It's true! And those R&N ones just shine! That's a VERY impressive layout the Anthracite High-Railers have! Thanks for giving us a look! Great video! Thanks for posting!

New here but Live in the area, need to checkout Reading Railroad Heritage Museum located in 500 S 3rd St, Hamburg, PA 19526 as they have 3 RDC units of Reading Railroad as well as old Alco Bee Line Reading units. I know that the area really well and know of a lot of places that have very special things there, like example do you know there are only 4 Original Conrail locomotives that still sit in the Lehigh Valley ha-ha most don't know that or know where there sitting as I do!

Like that they allowed you to tour and also the sky & birds on the ceilings. Do your models have that? Also love those Lehigh Gorge prints hanging in the cars.
