I had such a fun time looking back at this ancient high school memory! I really and truly loved making comics and i'm glad I got to bring this story back and share it with you all.
For those that are curious the original comic was made with computer paper and mechanical pencils and I made all the updated art on clip studio paint!

Both of your old art and the remake one were wonderful! I love the details that you've put on your old art like it's still so detailed and incredible for a 16 year old to make and same goes for the new one too so detailed and I love it! This was one of the reasons why I kept some of my drawings even though some of them are cringe because it gives you the nostalgia once you look back at it again and that it reminds you of how much progress you've had improved on your drawing skills! Always love seeing your videos it always put a smile on my face! 😊

It wasn’t cringey in my opinion! I actually quite liked it! I just wish it wasn’t so short and the art was very reminiscent of shojo manga! 10/10 I hope to see you read the other one you have!

Thank you so much! I really appreciate the feedback! I think it's mostly cringe to me since it's basically like looking into a mirror of my past haha. I'll have to plan for showing my next comic then!

LOL I loved the fact Banana Man exposed your drawings you still do that seems cringe (to me I don’t think they are cringy, I think it is hilarious XD) Also I would say that you have improved so much over time as for drawing in a couple of years! I love thisssssss The new cover looks a lot better and you've obviously improved so It's a win! Also I would totally love if you would do another one of these :D (It'n not a manga but I'm currently writing a small comic book with love in it too so I hope it's not too mushy- wish me luck)

I RELATE SO FREAKING MUCH LOL- I’ve made so many cringe comics and sadly I don’t have my childhood ones but I have some from my early teens and lemme just say it’s genius to do a redesign and reminisce haha. YOU MADE ME GIGGLE so many times 😆this was a great video and it’d be cool to see more of it lol (no pressure) but anyways love the story it’s very impressive it’s still very impressive :D 💙 (Edit was spelling mistake)
How do you draw so good!? I have been trying to do a cartoon-like style and it is sooooooooooo hard because usually i draw realism. Maybe you could make a video on how you do your art skills. P.S. your mini drawings of your expressions are so cool.

This is better than the "manga" I made at 18 (I'm a slow learner and I left my manga on a thumb drive at my ex boyfriend's. It's better this way.) So, 16-year-old you outdid 18-year-old me.

There are lots of great ones! But I recommend trying markers that have a brush tip on the end! Ohuhu is a great cheap option!
