I think I might’ve gotten my period idk though I’m 13 and back in 2021 I saw pink in my underwear only a little bit though but again on June 16th 2022 I saw pink again but a little more then before and then in July 2022 I saw pinkish/orange/brown stuff only a little though but then on my 13th birthday on October 14th I saw black in my underwear the next day I saw black again but never red and not a lot like I never needed to wear a pad for it so idk

I got my first period snowboarding when I was 10. I saw the blood and knew what a period was because my mom and I had already had "the talk", but I was in denial and just went "nope" and pretended it never happened. Thank god my mom saw the blood stain when she was doing my laundry and confronted me about it lol.

I am a person who gets nosebleeds a lot (I had one today and got it all over my iPad 😭) and I remember in kindergarten I had the HUGEST nosebleed and a blood clot came out of my nose. But this was not just any old blood clot, it was perfectly square and like twice the size of my nose. I am not exaggerating. I have had enough blood in my life.

I started developing breasts at 12 and figured I would get my period within the next few months because I took a bunch of test like “when will I get my first period” it’s said 2-6 months.2 years go by and I start growing hair down there and in my pits. When I was twelve I wanted to get my period so badly but as I started seeing and hearing how other girls around me reacted to getting there I didn’t really want it anymore and kinda deeded the day when I got it. Anyway, it was the day after my birthday and I had friends over at my house still (because it was a sleepover party) and I got my period, it just felt like discharge except when I used the bathroom my undies were completely brown… I casually walked back into my room where all my friends were sitting and was like “guys I think I got my period” they were super chill and like “well you should probably tell your mom” and I was like “yeah probably”. My mom hates talking about periods because she was taught to never say anything about them as a kid and that they were dirty. When I told her the first thing out her mouth was “no you didn’t, let me see your panties” I show her and she’s like “oh yep I guess you did” anyway I already had all the tampons/pads I needed so I just went back to my room and acted like nothing happens lol. The next day she went to the store and bought me chocolates 🥰

I can kind of understand guys making fun of us (though they still shouldn't) but I can't wrap my mind around how FELLOW GIRLS could make fun of us for something that THEY GET TOO.

I’m so glad I’ve listened to these period horror stories to know what to avoid at certain times. I know not to wear white jeans before and during my period, I know to always bring pads with me, I even have a code word for menstrual products that me and my friend use, we call it “the magic stuff” lol

At the beginning of the year, my teacher led the boys out of the room and told us girls that if needed, she and a few other female teachers have supplies, just ask. Shes a great teacher.

I love when I'm on my period and sharon randomly posts a period related video 😂 I got my 1st period when I was 12 (aug of 2018ish) and it was during summer but the icky part is my mom wasn't around to help me figure it out so I had to tell my dad about it 💀 thankfully tho, there were lots of pads in the house so-

I used to be scared of tampons. They’re not for everyone and that’s ok.

This isn’t my first period story, but it was the most traumatic! So I was going on a 12 hour road trip ( to an island) with my family! So I was somewhere around 10-12 years old at the time, and yes I had already gotten my first period when I was nine. I was already on my period but I had a pretty light flow so at 4 am when we left, I put on my pad( and put some extras in a purse) and some tight white and black checkered shorts. So we are driving, and driving for about 3 hours now so we stop for breakfast and the restroom. I go to the bathroom, which was crowded btw. And I look down and there is blood all over my shorts and legs… So I change my pad and panties and run out of the bathroom, with my blood stained shorts still on. I go back to the car and luckily, I had had a pair of sweatpants in the car, so I put those on over my shorts, which now that I remember,, why did I d9 that! I was just sitting in my own blood for hours on end. Couple hours later we stop for lunch at a Wendy’s and I excuse myself to use the restroom, change my pad and there is no fucking toilet paper. So now I have to pee and I can’t! Then later that night we get to our rental house and over all, I had an amazing trip. I would definitely go again!

YES, FINALLY, SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T BELIEVE IN THE MYTH! I remember back in high school, I got my period at around the same time as a swim meet. I participated anyways, as I wore a tampon with my swimsuit. Literally the only times I would ever wear tampons is if I went swimming.

When I got my first period, it only took a little more than a week for the next one to come. It was like that for every one of them, and my periods were always HEAVY. I got really scared so I went to the doctor and it still isn't really situated yet.😒 Also I really love your videos, it makes me feel better about my body

OK SO I HAVE A STORY! Since I was like 6 or 7 my mom told me about periods and how they worked and I got my first period exactly 3 DAYS BEFORE MY 10TH BIRTHDAY Worst part? It was at a water park and I had to use those water pads or whatever their called and I litteraly wrote my mom a note saying “I got my period. I’m sad now :(“ That’s my story.

oh my gosh, my first period came 2 weeks after my grandma came from the hospital. I’d say it was pretty traumatic as I had seen her almost die in front of me and I was barely 10 years old (I was also starting to be mentally unstable, so this didn’t help much) So when my period came just 2 WEEKS LATER, I thought I was dying. Ofc I did think at one point “is this my period?” but then said “no it cant be, periods are when you go and pee, not like this” 😄 I thought periods were like pee… I thought I would bleed when I peed for abt a week and then it’d be over 😓 Edit: forgot to mention, I’m 15 now. 4 years of having my period as I was turning 11 that year

When I got my first period I was 12 and that day my family and a bunch of other people were going on a river float. I only realised it was my period halfway to the river and I was so scared that I would bleed out in the water. Luckily no one noticed but I had to sit in my blood all the way home. I have a story about my first period: So I was 13-14ish and was in a day program because I was a troubled kid (turns out to be PTSD and Autism) ANYWAYS when I went to the bathroom there and I saw red in my poop and thought it was my period. I told the teacher but flushed the toilet before they could see. I later was welcomed home with tampons. 4 MONTHS LATER: I got my ACTUAL first period. I just shrugged my shoulders and thought I finally have use for the tampons. I just casually put one in after reading the directions and the damn American Girl puberty book (YES I AM THAT OLD!!!!!!!!) and just went about my day. So I have used tampons since I was 13 years old. I am 27 now and that American Girl book haunts me in my period dreams TO THIS DAY but grateful because that's how I learned how to put in a damn tampon)

I tried a makeshift pad, it ended up breaking and going down my leggings, you could tell there was stuff in my leggings. And it was itchy and I didn't know, so when I reached up one of my legs and pulled it out there was red toilet paper... I was so upset

I always recommend (if its not obvious) to bring a spare pad or two with you to school or tampon, so that if you get your period then you can use that. i haven't gotten mine yet but I still keep pads in my bag just in case :)

My first period story: I was 14 and it was the Sunday before school. I was at my grandmas house watching her dogs. I went to to the bathroom and I pooped and wiped and there was blood all over the toilet paper, I thought I just bled a little bit since I pooped. I kept wiping and more blood kept coming out. I finally realized that it was my period and I called my mom

I got my first period when i was 11 or 13 (I think). My dad was at work, so it was just my mom and I. We went to my older brother's football game when I got my period. My mom was getting annoyed when I was telling her I needed to go to the bathroom. And my stomach was hurting a bit. But then, (SO embarrassing...) I peed my pants because she wouldn't take me to the bathroom. But we ended up leaving the game early because I needed a change if clothes. We went to my grandma's house because her house was closer to the game than ours. My mom left me with my grandma so she could go get some new clothes from my house. Not sure why she left me there and didn't just take me home with her, but that's what happened. I was sitting on the toilet (just sitting there) with my grandma on the floor comforting me until my mom got back. When she finally got back, she brought some pads too. Her and my grandma switched places my mom helped me clean up. When we were about to leave, my mom sat me on the dryer by the door and called my dad. She said "Oh my f*cking gosh. Alayna just got her period. Shes a woman now." And I swear my dad was freaking out a bit, and said something like "Oh, great. Imagine what shes going to be like when shes a teenager." And here we are, im 14 and just as bad as he thought I was gonna be 😃. Extra Story: The first time I got my period at school, I was already scared of using school bathrooms, (story is so embarrassing, but if you want me to tell, I'll tell) so that wasn't too great of a start. I got it in the middle of science or reading, and I asked if I could use the restroom. (All the teachers in the class were females) I went to the bathroom and saw I got my period. I didn't know what to do, but I wasn't freaking out, having a whole meltdown or anything because of it. I just wrapped up some toilet paper and put jt in my underwear, even taking more and wrapping it up like wings in a pad so it wouldn't fall out as easily. As I was washing my hands, another student came in who was younger than me, so I felt so awkward for no reason... But I got back to my classroom, having a mini panic attack on the way there because I didn't know if I should've told my teacher or not. But I made the decision to tell her, and she basically said that if I needed ANYTHING I could just tell her, and that I shouldn't feel embarrassed. And she kinda gave me a little 30 second talk about periods there. I get home and tell my mom. She says she proud of me for making those decisions when I had no frickin clue what to do or what I was doing. She gave me a better explanation about periods later that night and gave me "the talk" a few months ago.... (But i already knew EVERYTHING.... don't tell her that....💀💀 - I had to act like I was embarrassed and I had to try not to laugh. I had to act disgusted....but my acting skills must've been amazing 😅)

I was at my aunts house and it was late at nigh I was 11 and I knew what a period was and I felt like crap I had super bad cramps and I went to the bathroom and I was like really. my crush/my best friend saw a period stain at break and he told me and gave me his jumper to wrap around my waist for the rest of the day and we are still friends and he brings pads for me when my periods due he is literally the best

I was actually lucky because I learned it at school, we had a mandatory lesson about it, in 3rd or 4th grade I don't remember. My mom didn't really have to tell me anything, we always talked about it without any problem, and she told me she had spare pads/tampons at home for whenever it happened. I also beneficiated from my country's sexual and affective education program in my school which I'm very grateful for. We had three lessons a year for the 4 years of middle school. It wasn't only about our bodies, but also about how to prevent toxic relationships. I think that's great and every little girl AND BOY should be informed. I got them first at 14, it was a holiday and when I woke up in the morning I saw the bottom of my underwear was brown (I would have mistaken it for poop if I didn't know what it was really)

I was trialling a dance class and I got my first period and the FEMALE teacher called me gross and kicked me out of the class. That was a fun time.

I got my first period today, at 6:00 am. I’m going to share even though no one asked. I went to the bathroom and my bodily liquid was pink. I though I had a kidney stone because my mom had those and the bodily liquid looked the same. She looked at it once then told me to wipe, took one look and said I started. XCam_And_SamX

My mum got her period when she was 10. You can get your period at any age. The youngest person in the world to get their period was 4 years old. Crazy right.

I just got my piriod and I'm waching this to make me feel not embarrassed ❤

Love watching your period stories videos never failed to make me smile & laugh. I got my first period around 12 almost 13 a month away from my birthday turning 13. In January 2009, I was at home and I saw this pink thing on toilet paper I told my mum and I freaked out but I didn’t get anything after on toilet paper all white nothing happened. A month later, my dad took me to a dance class as usual on a weekend, I used the bathroom before I went into the dance studio, when I wiped, the toilet paper was all BLOODY RED. I wiped it repeatedly, it was still red. I was confused wasn’t sure if that was it. I asked my dad to call my mum so I talked to her on the phone. My mum told me that was my period and she immediately came to rescue me with pads. She showed me how to use it etc. I felt so awkward walking weirdly because there was a pad down there lol I didn’t go to dance class on that day, ended up leaving with my parents had lunch and went home.

My first period story. So I was 10 it was June 9th at around 11-12pm and I was in my room talking to my bestie. I have been getting bad cramps when I was 9 (year 5 and over a year so I knew I was due to have it soon) and went to the toilet while on the phone to my best friend. Luckily it was a voice call because I said "OMG Ellie I'll call you back I got my first period" so then I called my mum because she works night shifts at centerparcs she answered and I started balling my eyes out she became worried and asked what was wrong. I told her and said that it hurt and she was happy the girls at work are understanding and asked what happened so my mum told them and their reactions was just the sweetest. My mum texted my dad who was luckiky awake at the time and came down to check on me. I've now been having my period for just over a year well done me. Btw you can laugh I laughed while writing this 🤣🤣

I was supposed to go to Great Wolf Lodge and I got my period (not my first one). Obviously, it’s a water park. My step dad talked to my mom and they ordered a period swimsuit. It honestly worked really well.

My first period lucky I was at home and it happen on august 28 2008 like few days before I was in 7th grade when I noticed I was bleeding I screamed my mom said your a woman …I was only 12 almost 13 ….now I’m 27 and I’m on birth control and mine aren’t bad anymore . Thank god!

Pls pls plssss go see a doctor, this is not normal at all. Your cramps should not feel that bad, I hope you feel better and figure out what is going on. I have never used birth control and never thought of it so idk if this is a thing, but maybe that type of birth control isn't working how it should.

@@lilliopie3171 the birth control im taking is to make my body have a period. I have PCOS so without some form of medication, my body doesn’t go through periods.

for context,i started getting boobs and armpit hair around 10 years old, maybe early 11, and then got my period around 12, and have only had my period for about a year now. but once i started hitting puberty, i found your channel. i watched a bunch of period horror stories and period videos, and one said that it takes around 1-2 years after hitting puberty to get your period. after about 6 months of knowing about your channel, i was so excited to get my period and was getting impatient for when it was going to come because some of my friends had already had it. one day, i started having discharge in my underwear, and i thought it was my period, so i told my mom and she bought me tampons (i’m a swimmer). so, for around 3 or 4 months, i was trying to put in a tampon EVERY TIME i went to swim, AND I HADNT EVEN HAD MY PERIOD YET. I WAS PUTTING IT IN DRY. it hurt so bad to take it out and i started sobbing almost every time, to the point where i had to skip swim all the time because it hurt so bad. i didn’t even know how to do it right and it didn’t go very far in so it was SO UNCOMFORTABLE the whole time. finally, one day i actually started getting my period and it was bright red, i was so confused because before it had only been white/clear discharge and sometimes brown (i had discharge almost every day so that’s why i thought my period happened all of the time) it was such a bad experience and i’ve never really told anyone, even my mom.

Ppl who get their period late will be less likely to get a bad first period story since they likely got education from family or friends I got mine largely from the internet!

when i as 10 i got my first period in the middle of math class in the middle of a test, my back was aching but i thought it was just the position i was in , i asked to go to the bathroom and my teacher said yes bc we were in the middle of a grade 4 exam and i couldnt hold it so i got up to go clean the discharge and i saw blood in my underwear, i freakec out and told my teacher.i was having a panic attack, i called my mom and got home and sat on my phone for the rest of the day.......

My mom is really educating me about periods, how to use pads, what to do, and colors of ur blood and when ur period ends. I hadn’t got mine yet and I’m 10 but I’m glad that u are educating me about it to. My mom told me her story so, here it is! One day my mom was in a local grocery store and she was never educated about periods, so she thought she was dying and started screaming like a hyena.

I got my period on my dad’s 40th Birthday!! 13 years old.

I just got my period today so I was playing roblox with my cousins and we were laughing and having a ball, when I reach down because I dropped someone on the chair I was sitting on and my finger brushed against the area I bled through and I kept panicking because these were my fav pants and even worse is that it was a big huge blood clot 😭

my first period wasn't a big show or anything, nothing too serious which I'm SOO THANKFUL for that. I was 12, it was close to my birthday, and it was the 4th of July. Which I think is quite cool, epic date to get your period lol. And I was going to the bathroom to pee, and then I saw a whole ton of blood. I was pretty educated on periods so I knew what it was and how it worked and all that. I got it late at night, this was like when I was preparing to go to bed, so my parents were already in bed at this time. So I rushed down the stairs and I blurted to my mom "I got my period!" and she gave me some pads and sent me to sleep. It was pretty chill, and it was just kind of an inconvenience, I did not and still do not want to deal with periods bc I think they're just so much work and just a major inconvenience. Also, I was wearing white pants when we were seeing fireworks at night (we had basically just gotten home from that). Thank god it didn't leak through. 😅

How old are you, also do you have symptoms because if you are within the age range from 9-16 you don’t need to be worried
