Same here that book is top-notch.

I feel so seen. I wanted to like this book so badly but it was actually horrible to me. I think I like the way everyone depicted this book way more vs the actual book.

I feel this sm. Idk how people, especially so many, can like it and even ROMANTICISE it. I was so baffled and traumatised I couldn't even finish it.

I thought Zade was gonna be so terrifying when I saw what everyone said about this book but honestly he doesn't seem that bad to me, i really like him and addie

When I heard about the gun scene it cemented my decision to NOT read it

me personally, i just searched on spotify: reading music and it’s just basically instrumental music. for me, it helps get more into the world of the book im reading and drown out background noise that could distract me. but yea the playlists in books would definitely distract me

I do instrumentals too. Dark Noir ambient music goes so well with some of the scenes.

I can’t listen to music and read at the same time either. I love your videos.

i'm really not a fan of smut either and honestly feel like it NEVER adds anything; loved the video as alwaaays

This was me when I read Ice Planet Barbarians. 😃😭 i DNFed it after I read the 2nd chapter

While watching this at the beginning I was waiting for her to get to chapter 16😅

Respect your opinion. Right now there seems to be a huge trend of smut books blowing up...and I read horror. So when my kindle recommended this read to me...I was intrigued but there was just too much.... too much creamed in with a odd pacing. I felt alot could have been cut out.

Well frankly speaking, dark romance is not similar to romance. Romance is a literal attraction but we forget the dark part here. And you kinda need to read part 2 to get the whole romance part together.

@9:03 I actually love a good steamy spice scene on paper but also need a lot of plot to substantiate it ….books with zero plot and all smut seem pointless to me, just watch porn if that’s what someone wants 😂 I’m also here for the spooky haunted vibes in this book but the second half really dragged …I still gave it 4 stars and will read hunting mainly because I feel I have to now 😂

there two books in that series but why doese both of them look the same? does that mean they can be read as standalones?

I don’t think so, I haven’t read the second but I am pretty sure it is a continuation of book 1. Not quite sure why they look the same!

I must’ve really had a fucked up childhood because none of it triggered me. 😂

You probably should of started with something a little lighter, like a Hades and Perstephie retelling

Idk if you will like this book, but since we shared the exact same opinion on Haunting Adeline, I feel that you might.....so what I wanted to say is, I suggest you read Aristotle and Dante Discover the secrets of the universe.

@@arapkz5454 I found a dark romance book at Walmart and I didn’t know what dark romance was but, when I started to read it my mouth was open the entire time😓 it was a good book but uhm….😐 I didn’t need to know half the things that they did🤣 I got bored of what I’m reading and bought haunting Adeline so let’s see how it goes😮‍💨 wish me luck 😣

This book read like an unpolished, unedited first draft.

I just wanna know why people read a book that they already know they would not like? Like did you all read the trigger warnings ? You were ok with it and started reading it and then just suddenly hate the book for a thing that you already knew it would happen? I think you all need help actually not the people honestly liking it

Gotcha 😅 it’s just that, I really cannot understand why people keep doing this, reading a book that they already get warned about. But it’s ok, I actually liked your video and love the duet. It’s ok if you didn’t like it. At least you were honest about it and conscious enough to understand that you put yourself in that situation
