1. The exam has different questions types and each type needs different strategies 2. Blindly follow the strategies 3. Read each passage and identify the main ideas 4. Read the passage first and make your own headings for each and then match the headings later 5. Spend time practicing on learning the strategies 6. Reading the text first can make you very confused 7. Take note of how much time you spend per section 8. Complete the first 2 sections quickly so you have more times for the last section

First and last teacher in the world, there are no other teacher come closer to Mr. Cris your ideas and way of teaching skills with proper explanation un comparable what other Ielts teacher do hats off to your commendable effort ❤
When I was preparing for an IELTS exam with your videos, I promised myself to leave a comment about my results and gratitude on your every single KZread video (that has been released until now: 23.07.2024) after receiving my results. Today I want to fulfill that promise: Listening: 8.5 Reading: 8.5 Writing: 7.5 Speaking: 6.5 OVERALL: 8.0 Thank you for your free lessons on KZread that explain everything we need to know about IELTS in a simple and honest way.
🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:00 🤩 Four band 9 students share key advice for improving IELTS Reading. 01:10 🧭 Hate certain question types? Develop step-by-step strategies to eliminate distractions and boost scores. 02:30 📚 Have a unique strategy for each question type; avoid using tricks but employ specific techniques. 03:50 🧠 Vocabulary is essential, but focus on skimming, scanning, and understanding question formats for higher scores. 05:10 🎯 Memorize and practice strategies, then blindly follow them during the test to reduce stress and cognitive load. 06:19 🗂️ For Matching Headings, don't read questions first; create your own headings while reading paragraphs to ease matching later. 09:45 🚫 True/False/Not Given: Quickly decide 'Not Given' without searching for missing info; confidently mark 'False' if you can correct the statement. 13:41 ⌛ Time management is not about tips; read regularly, enjoy content, and improve vocabulary to naturally manage time. 16:48 ⏰ Allocate time differently for sections; complete easier sections faster to have more time for difficult questions in section three. Hi,Chris! I have experienced one unusual reading test. That is i got correct 38 that means 8,5 because it read one book with great curiosity inonly a day. But few days later i made 6 mistakes because of lack of reading, yeah?! Or is there could be other reasons why this happened?? But the most surprising was i got all ‘heading’questions right , But i did 5/7 incorrect just now !! :(
When I take lesson from you about reading, then I feel that reading is not hard nut to cruck for me.
It is considered by some people that homework shouldn't be given to schoolchildren. While others believe that it plays an useful role for educating children. In my opinion homework is a crucial part of education as it makes them punctual and helps them gain more knowledge. While not giving homework to kids can help them alot by giving them time to relax and play sports. We all know, sports is a crucial part of childhood. It helps them to develop their brain and body. Thus giving less homework help kids in participating in more extracurricular activities. However giving homework can also be beneficial for children in several ways. It helps kids to learn things independently. Giving homework also makes them punctual and sincere pupils. To conclude, in my opinion giving homework not only develops various qualities in children like being sincere and punctual it also develop their thinking skills. Thus giving homework is essential part of students lives.

Can I first solve passage 3 , after that 1and 2 ?
True, false, not given are questions I rlly struggle with. In my previous sample I had text with sentence “The children of the newly-literate mothers were also better nourished than those of women who could not read”. The question was “After the National Literacy Crusade, the children of the women who remained illiterate were found to be severely malnourished”. I put true, but the answer was not given. If someone there could explain why not given? As the sentence is the direct paraphrase of the statement? Like we also have “than” (better nourished than those of women who could not read). Why is that?
