I know! It has the shaker hood look of a old charger I was so happy to see that. They also said something earlier in the beginning of making it “don’t we need this for regulations? No it clogs up all your power!” Referring to a catalytic converter in cars. I was so happy with this.

@@Ducktape- one of the first parts they bolt on is called a "turbonic venturi power assimilator" which looks almost exactly like a supercharger, and even fits on top of the engine block. But the name would suggest it functions more like a turbo, as the venturi effect is the circular wind turbulence that comes off of airplane wing tips.

What he needs now is a mini-freighter ship...similar that Hera had with the "Ghost" in SW: Rebels. That ship had a smaller secondary ship called the "Phantom." If he can get a ship like that, it'll solve the issue of his bounty collecting, have somewhere to live, and have enough room for his new N1 for special assignments.

The problem he will have with that is N-1 is refueled from its tail along with its data link which is also in its tail, N-1 didn't have a wireless data link so it couldn't be hacked. So he would need a ship he could back up into, that puts its very powerful engine back blast hitting that ship.

It seems pretty obvious he'll be partnering with Bo Katan and living on her ship in the new season. That's why he has a small fighter this time instead of a ship he can live on.

Mando now has a customized Starfighter. Every time he needs a repair- or worse, a replacement- Peli Motto is going to charge him double.

For all the shit people has been given to the Pre-trilogy for all these years, it is surprising to see that everyone likes the Naboo N-1 and how dope it looks as a Custom ship.

I was never a hater of those movies and I think I’m finally sensing some folks are softening their opinions. I think maybe the prequel trilogy story arc can be clearly seen as well crafted at least now when compared with the “made up as we go” new trilogy.

I think it's more some parts of the prequel movies that people had issues with Namely jar jar and anikins dialogue(there has to be a better way to say padme is soft other than that stupid sand line)

The only people that disliked the prequels were the old timers still hung up on the OT. The prequels are not terrible. Phantom menace is amazing and gave us maul, attack of the clones....exists, and revenge of the sith is the best star wars movie

The Naboo N-1 Starfighter has probably been my favorite Star Wars ship next to the Falcon since 1999, this almost brought tears to my eyes! I’m also a gear head, so this was totally a rat rod build. Loved the guy who said he finally understands car guys now! Haha!

It's a sexy ship, but gonna be a bit rough to bounty hunt in. Hopefully Mando gets a bigger ship, one big enough to dock the N-1 in.

Only difference being the modified N1 is so fast it doesn't really need a rear turret.

Mando got a hot rod, Mando got a hot rod! My fav of it when he leaves the two X-Wings like they're parked..and the look on the younger pilots face "Did he just hyper out? I got no trace!"

Seeing Din Djarin pilot his modified N-1 starfighter in part of the Boonta Eve Classic race track was definitely giving off "The Phantom Menace" vibes. Also, please do reactors reactions to hearing Mando say "wizard" in Episode 5 of "The Book of Boba Fett".

That starfighter gave me a new appreciation for the Naboo Starfighter. When I saw the Phantom Menace (the one time) I thought it was a stupid ship. I mean, could you imagine if he filled in some of the armor gaps with Beskar plates?

There is a reason why naboo starfighters for the royal guard were only for them these ships are a one of a kind and were built for speed and combat and being a one of kind ship only found on naboo make them rare. Hell the battle of Naboo in space there were like 11 of these ships going up against one lucerhulk a ship that can hold up to 1,500 vulture droids they held their own in space, until a young Anikin skywalker turn the tied of the battle with a lucky Ion torpedo shot. By the end of the battle there were only 7 naboo fighters that made it back alive.

The N1 Starfighter is one of my favorite ships in Star Wars. It’s such a sexy ship, I recognized it right when I saw it’s shape under the tarp.

So basically the Razor Crest was a Truck; while now the Razor Crest II (Tentative Name) is a Muscle Car

Star Wars is the place were ships that are labeled pieces of junk like the Millennium Falcon, Slave 1, Razor Crest and N-1 can get a redesign, get souped up and upgraded and they can go toe to toe with the new model ships.

@@TheNerdForAllSeasons not within universe. But trust me there have been many people that have called the N-1 a piece of junk. But speaking for myself my ship I will always pick is the Slave 1(Firespray model).

I just realized that this souped up N-1 is exactly like a 1968 Chevy Corvette C3 WITH the ULTRA-RARE LS-7 engine (427ci). It even sounds exactly like one, too! Nice to know Chevy is still in business in a Galaxy, FAR, FAR AWAY.

This is the coolest ship ever. The brand new design of the N1 Naboo Starfighter. She's fast, and looks so good. Couldn't you agree?

you rarely get a sense of speed in sci-fi, that's why those scene are some of my faves

1999. Right before my screening of “The Phantom Menace” I roam around my local Toys R Us and see brand new Star Wars action figures. A dream come true. Then after my show I go to get some Taco Bell right before my second viewing…all in one day. What a time to be a Star Wars fan. Thanks Lucasfilm for bringing back some old memories. 💙

I love the music as he pull's up into space

I felt like this was a love letter to the few prequel fans out there. It was just full of Ep. I references. The N-1 Naboo Starfighter, Beggar's canyon, the sound of it as it flew by, and the start-up sequence for the fighter! I had goosebumps for this entire sequence of the episode

The N1 is the most gorgeous starship in all of Star Wars, and I still think someone could make a functioning one in real life without departing too much from the original design.

When they revealed the N1, it was like a flood of memories unlocked from my childhood as I remembered that I used to fly the N1 when I played Star Wars Starfighter for the PS2.

When I first saw this part and it was going to be restored, I immediately thought its a resto mod. Super awesome to see as a car guy and mechanic.

This is my new favorite ship, I mean I still miss the original Razor Crest, but this brings me back to the prequel trilogy. This is one is Mandalorian style...

This was basically the Star Wars version of an LS swapped Miata.

My son is 2 years old and, when watching TBoBF, when he saw the ship he said the EXACT same thing as 11:01.

How to make fans ok with a 48 min trailer for a different show within an ongoing show? Naboo Starfighter

One scene suggestion I would love to see is The Book of Boba Fett S1E7 that last scene where Grogu pesters Din Djarin to go fast. You know, where Grogu keeps tapping on the glass with his metal ball.

I wonder how many modern upgrades that starfighter have been installed and It also reminds me of a futuristic P-51.

You've all noticed the quote in ep.I, but, in this scene we have the canyon that Luke Skywalker was crossing with his T-16 and the womp rats in the foreground. Has anyone noticed? (it's a quote from ep.IV)

change of heart. Boba knows the location/whereabouts of Galen Marek's (Starkiller) old ship - the Rogue Shadow. Since Marek and clones are dead, the RS would make a perfect home base for Din Djarin. Boba tells or shows Mando where to find the Rogue Shadow. It has a hangar for the N-1scooter, plenty of storage, equipment spaces, messing, berthing, meditation room, bathrooms, etc. It has stealth, cloaking device, weapons, missiles, droids, everything a king 'on-the-move' needs. Plenty of space for prisoners (if needed- when he chooses to bounty hunt), friends, royal entourage(s), etc. Perfect ship for Din.
