Reactor Room 0.5 | Dub Techno Mix
Музыка
66 minutes of dub techno, featuring releases from Narcotic 303, El Choop, aspect., Andreiclv, Foquus, Alex Humann, and more in the tracklist.
This mix starts off with deep atmospherics, then moves on to upbeat flavors. The second-half part features ambient selections and some minimal techno bits.
Ideal for background listening + relaxing.
After checking Analytics and reading numbers of comments, it appears dub techno mixes are quite popular on my channel,
so instead of uploading one for every two months, Reactor Room will now be uploaded monthly, alongside with Telemetric Transmission and DnB mix. :)

Heavenvhord - Transforming Dub, right the balance!
Dub techno is like having a coffee with a valium

Never tried valium so can't confirm, but I'm pretty sure dub techno doesn't have the same side effects.

@@minimaluser2132 What you are describing is exactly why it's so dangerous. When it feels like you describe you will want to feel like that more and more often, and the more you get used to it, the more unbearable it becomes to be without it. It means you are addicted.

So getting heart palpitations, anxiety and dehydration? doesn't sound like dub techno at all
I'm obsessed with Aviana by Foquus since listening to this set. TYSM!

You are better than a lot of these dj's out here. Your music takes me through my 1 and 1/2hr workouts 5 days a week. Doesnt bore me like other music does.. Your sound reminds me of going to raves in the late 90's-early 2000's. Back when everything was different in that scene. Love it💕keep it coming!

I really like the restaurant background noise around 53:20. I read that this type of ambient background noise is really good for concentration since it makes your brain start filtering out noise where silence instead causes your brain to jump around focusing on the smallest noise it hears. I love going to this channel for general purpose "get to work" music. Keep doing what you do!

I'ts good for masterbating too.
Thank you greatly for a magical hour of awesome sound. Dub techno is a favourite genre. You hit the spot with this mix, its other worldly, deep, beautiful.
These are fantastic thank you so much.
I've liked and commented on a lot of your mixes at this point but I think this one might just be my favorite. Great vibe on this one, man! Especially where it gets a bit more uptempo melodic while still being so dubby.

+Kodiak Firesmith Thank you again for your feedback! :D
Just wanted to say thank you for putting up the Reactor Room series. I do a lot of driving for work and I LOVE listening to the series while driving. I also try to write some dub techno (been writing for about 10+ years). The track selection, programming and vibe are the most important skills for a DJ to possess and you have them. Could the mixing be a touch tighter, sure, but that is really nitpicking. All-in-all this is amazing and I get so much enjoyment out of the mixes. Again, THANK YOU so much for posting!!!

+shitfaced1337 I second this comment! Let me add, I've wondered if there was a dub techno scene or particular countries where it's played in clubs or underground. I've searched for my country, Switzerland, but I didn't find a lot that seems serious and maintained. All I've noticed is that a bunch of dub techno songs come from German artists, said country seems interesting and exciting to me but I've only scratched club-goer age. ;)

+Donovaan As far as I know, there's a group called Kontraband, based in Bangkok (where I lived) It's not exclusively dub techno, maybe more oriented to dnb and dubstep, but it's probably the closest event here, and they organized it monthly. I guess the 'ambient' dub techno is more suited to home listening, or club chilling for that sort.

+f1rstpers0n Interesting! I get your point with the ambient being for chill out, but dub techno would be nice on parties especially when it's very late. In Switzerland, deep house, minimal and different psy genres are the most common. Sadly there is no kind of group interfacing the party scene, it's not that easy to find exactly what you want, I guess I need to find people that have more experience with it.

Hey, thanks another great mix, Just a suggestion, those txt files in the zip folders, you can probably replace them with .cue file, you can use them in a media player like foobar2000 as a sort of playlist for splitting up a file.

did you create the visualization software yourself?
I have a question. What software and hardware do I use to make music like that? Do I need a launchpad?
@f1rstpers0nmixes
8 жыл бұрын
this tutorial gave me a starting point: www.ronnypries.de/blog/music-production/a-look-at-dubtechno-chordsnstabs/ for production, a DAW (ableton live, fl studios, etc) and an audio interface (like traktor audio 2) is enough to get you going. if you're into live performance, you'll need some hardwares (like analog synth or midi controller such as launchpad)
Hey f1rstpers0n - thanks for the mixes! It seems like you've built quite a little community here - perhaps you should start a Facebook group where we can all share mixes and tunes?
Dear fellow Dubtechno heads: I got a Rhythm & Sound tribute track ready in my chan. Please leave me a comment on how you like it.
