Finally found an artist that sees the world the way I do. Proud to be a new member of the warriors and weirdos. Been on the planet almost 49 years, and I can honestly say that this young lady is at the top of my list of talent. She is truly unique, She's just sheer perfection. There is nothing she does I do not like. Just discovered her a few months ago. My life is better for knowing her music. Glad to share this journey with you. Great reactions so far. Hope you continue. All of her songs are so wonderful.

She defiantly feels emotions. She said one of the reasons she hated school in her teens was there was just so much intense emotions around her. Her backup singer is called Silja Sol :)
Aurora is a wonderful artist, setting her stories to music which draws you in to her private world! I was wondering if you have heard of a young Russian singer called Diana Ankudinova? She is a dramatic contralto with a polyphonic voice which allows her to be someone very unique. Some songs you may like to discover are Rechenka, Wicked Game, Derniere Danse, Human. She is 14 when singing Rechenka, now almost 18 (31st May), who has an amazing, extremely sad, back story (well worth reading!). Her latest release is Happiness, a song that will be on her forthcoming, crowd funded, album.
AuRoRa is always best live, but there are a couple of videos you should check out. KEXP would be an excellent performance to see. good stuff as always! thx!
