oh i am happy to find you appreciate joker xue's music and his voice cuz he is one of my favourite singers. But it's a pity that you couldn't understand his lyrics which always have deeper meanings. I highly recommend 高尚（Gao Shang）and 我好像在哪见过你 to you.

For this song, it is saying that puppets do not have feelings, so after being hurt over and over again, we become puppets. To be honest, his lyrics are hard to understand even in Chinese. But I really recommend his song “Actor”, as it was a really big hit in China. And also Ren Zhen De Xue(just type that in KZread), His other hit song that he released 10 years ago. If you listen to that song, you can tell that his voice changed so much.

The house in the M/V is a metaphor for the society which offers fame and wealth for whoever is willing to trade their own heart for it. People take the deal to get their dream life even if they know by giving up their heart that could lead them into a life style as a puppet who has zero feelings for the world.
