These Four are perfect for this concept, not that the other members couldn't have done as well but something just fits (same thing with the members in Chocome). I do feel like Dawon could have been really amazing in this song especially just because her vocals would sound amazing on this track but this song has become my favorite song of this year just because of the baseline alone. But, let's be honest if Dawon was in this I surely would need an ambulance called rather than just my inhaler. (I also feel like she gets the short end of the stick when it comes to lines and screen time) Also I really love the comment about this being sexy for the female gaze because it explains exactly what I was trying to put into words myself.

I thought so too at first, Dawon would fit in this sub unit well ,not only she's my bias in wjsn but also I want to see her trying this kinda concept. Well, we Dawon stans might get sent to graves if she ever cover easy. On that fact, you're absolutely right about her part of lines. I'm kinda hoping to see our power vocals Dawon and Yeonjung slaying the hell out of ujungs. Let's hope we can get the two as duos.

As a dude, I kinda get what you mean during your female vs male gaze rant. I find both to be attractive but whereas sexiness for the male gaze is more “overt”, I find sexiness for the female gaze to be more “classy” and subtle than anything. That being said, I’m sure many people find both to be attractive, but I can see where someone might steer to one or the other.

i've thought about the whole male gaze vs female gaze thing a lot, I find it really interesting. i do remember reading once (sorry i can't remember the specific article) that for men things are essentially more visual (showing skin, posing in a provocative way etc) while for women things are more sensory and rely on factors such as ambiance (in general terms anyway)
