The ones who are trapped are usually tortured souls wanting to be released and move on, and the ones who choose to stay are usually at peace. Just because a spirit is 'haunting' a place, it doesn't make them malivolent spirits.

I just spent about a week and a half binge watching pretty much all the TFIL episodes. So these investigations are fresh in my mind. Corey, seeing you in these investigations and how your feeling and reacting reminds me of myself. I have the same feelings, goosebumps, eyes watery, intuitions also. Corey always says that and Corbin follows up with "I see it" as if he was reacting to Corey about to say "did you see that?". You can also hear Corey shuffle right before he says "did" as if he were pointing down the hall. Pretty sure this one is debunkable

I disagree, the "did" or "dead" sounds lower than Corey's voice when he says "I see it". Why would he say "Did", then stop and say "I see it"? It's not probable to me.
