@@LKTVLKTV they really are. For my decade-long k-Pop stanning career(?), I've never seen a group not only talented but also visually stunning (meaning their faces and also their MVs)

They have this androgynous sensuality about them that I love. They aren't trying to be sensual by being masculine; they're just being sensual. I love their music too.

onlyoneof has such a unique vibe, i love them. angel is my favorite song from them, i don't understand why it's so underrated.

a song of ice and fire caught my attention because of how tricky this song actually is, bc they're building up for a drop in the chorus but it DOESNT come at all and they bring it AFTER the chorus and it gives me such whiplash i was almost dizzy lol i personally think of onlyoneof as the most unique group in the game and if you're interested you absolutely have to check out "dora maar" if you haven't yet, it's a title track but it doesn't have an mv, but i honestly think it's their best one. it doesn't go hard but the whole atmosphere of it is SO magical. i also recommend "designer" as i think it's their best bside ever, it's really unique. also their whole latest album is just pure art. i'm so happy you've grown interested in them, they need a lot more recognition than they're getting and i can also recommend reacting to their funny compilations because they're total crackheads and one of the funniest people on earth 💖 also angel is actually one of their most popular songs!! it has over seven million views on their official channel

Without rehashing most of what the other comments said I DEFINITELY recommend checking out Dora Maar. It’s a title track with no mv (it does have an official audio n dance practice though) but onlyoneof put a lot of importance on it. Going as far to say that it is their signature sound and representative work, classified as art pop! (You won’t find much of that sound in their title tracks, but it’s all over their bsides, most prominently picassO, designer and byredo) Now the thing with onlyoneof is that they have a lot of stories they want to tell. They have their main story in the ‘ *dot* point jump’ (savanna,time leap), ‘ *line* sun goodness’ (sage), ‘if *surface* m’ (unreleased) album trilogy. And then you have the side stories in the produced by albums and the ‘instinct’ two parter that take place inbetween line and surface. With that said it gets pretty intricate, most of their songs are connected either sonically or lyrically or both. For example most of the songs on line sun goodness are parallels/mirrored in message to the songs on dot point jump. (Onlyoneof you > onlyoneof me, savanna > desert, time leap > time machine, etc.) This allows them to expand on stories as far as they want to take them, without being compromised by the limitations of keeping it within a single song or album. This makes up their structural universe. However there’s one particular storyline that isn’t part of the main story, but has a lot of importance when it comes to them as a group. which is the picassO > dOra Maar > designer > byredO story. They are the art pop songs that make up Onlyoneof’s signature sound and are very representative of them as a group. Because of that I really hope you can consider checking them out together, or close in timeframe because it makes for such an experience when you explore them in the context of each other, especially since you seem to be very interested in their intentions and what they want to say with their art. Now before I make this too long, I notice that you watched most of the mvs on either 1thek or stone music. This is fine! however on their own channel their mvs (the official audio in the case of Dora Maar) always have subtitles and elaborate descriptions that talk about the meaning of the album, song and what onlyoneof are about as a group. so I definitely do recommend reading those because i feel it’s an integral part of understanding the group as a whole. Lastly, just like libido I really enjoyed your commentary! I especially enjoyed when you mentioned the possible symbolism of angel as I’ve noticed that too and have personally been working on analyzing the music video within the context of digitalization and biometric data specifically! Now I can’t wait to see more of your deep dive into onlyoneof, you won’t be disappointed!

I first got interested in OOO bc of their choreo, it's always so creative and unique, Blossom and Dora maar highly recommended! 👍Their songs are so vibe-y

Thanks to the libidO comeback, more and more people get to be seriously interested in OnlyOneOf. This is also because of their amazing, diverse discography, as well as their funny personality. I am never so into a group from my six-year-experience of kpop plus more years of music in general. Thank you for checking out more songs from them and sharing your perspective. At the same time, I also recommend checking out Haeil, one of OnlyOneOf's music writers and producers (including libidO, savanna, and more). He contributes heavily to the sensual part. He also has amazing songs but super underrated.

"unapologetically sensual" describes them perfectly lmao Personally I reallyyy love this album they have called 'dot point jump Vol. 2' (it's a continuation of the album which had savanna as title track) and I think you'll really like it as well considering how much you love savanna and sage!

I was interested in them because of their dance practices and covers. Then libidO really cemented it. Their vocal blend is unique, I can almost always identify them. It just floats above the music. I’m glad they are getting more attention!

Their Discography is so solid. When they blew up this year due to Libido I was just amusedly watching how people discovered them for the first time and realised how good they actually are. ^^ Their choreographies are so good too. 🤌🏼 The visuals in every one of their MV's has such a distinct aesthetic and theme too.

Their b-sides are some of my favorites! I was lucky to be there for debut and I still LOVE Savanna!

idk if u already saw but the "part 1" and "part 2" are from the mini albums (ex: dot point jump vol.1 and dot point jump vol.2) . they released 3 mini albums with pt 1-2 and the 4th is instinct pt.1 (which has libidO). you should definitely listen to "instinct pt. 1" the songs are totally AMAZING

Yeah so Junji (the member with the long hair) said it was really hard to dance with the long hair and he couldn’t really see but he was ok with keeping it because that was what he was known for; the long bowl cut 😅 I hope they let him keep his hair pulled back not only so he can see but so we can see his beautiful face as well! All that being said, Junji looks absolutely gorgeous and handsome with the long hair

My favourite song is "A song of ice and fire". I litterally listen to it everyday. "Angel" has that Califorian 90's pop feel to it wich is very nice. You should react to "dOra Maar" and "Designer" which are also some of my favourite songs from them. If some might think that 'Libido" is too much, One of the first things I thought when watching it the first time was : "This is how you get people to remember you" as sad as it sounds even if they are amazing and I love their crazy a**es. You should watch a couple of their crazy live clips that fans have compiled.

If you're going to react to more OnlyOneOf i think some dance practices would be really fun to react to! They move so fluidly and their choreo is really strong (some of the members help create choreo if i'm not mistaken) A very good song for that is dOra maar.

I remember at the time of their debut hearing Savanna and Time Leap and being so amazed because it was so different from what other boy groups were doing at the time. I've been checking them out ever since and all their songs are so vibey. I'm very excited to hear the full versions of their self-composed songs (hopefully they'll all get released sometime after the winners are announced).

Junji's hair was a very artistic choice, stylistically but it made him uncomfortable, he said he could not see and sometimes he needed the help of other people to walk. During the LibidO promotions, they actually made his bangs shorter and his hair longer and I think it made him happier as well! Yes, I liked his earlier style a lot cause it created such a mystery around him but his face is super pretty to look at and his well being important enough to make me wanna part with the aesthetic after all. Thank you for this reaction, they are so talented it actually hurts seeing low numbers on their mvs, I just want them to be recognized, the boys have zero bad songs in their discography, it is insane!!

Sage is my favorite onlyoneof song, every time i hear it i'm going hyper :))

Time Leap isn't your favorite, but that one was automatically my fave out of all their MV tracks, besides Libido. It's right up my alley in terms of music style. Savanna is my least favorite, but even that one like, I wouldn't skip it if it came on. I'll be looking forward to a guide! If you have a chance to check out their behind the scenes for their MVs you should (maybe on your own time), b/c they're such crackheads and super entertaining.
