Parrish's power-stances are innate. He doesn't try to seem like a BAMF, he simply is. The way he held notes you expected to end and ended notes you expected him to hold keeps you on your freaking toes. The subtlety in his changes of note structure transformed the whole song, in an amazing way. Also, can you say GROWL!?!

100% agree. I never liked how many of the notes that should have been held were cut short in other versions, and Peyton's version did justice to what I have always wanted. And the guttural, dark tones of this song make it one of my favorites, and it's even on my gym playlist!

This is a epic song and the power and emotion of his voice much determination in his voice to really give the stage presence even and to really just Rock this song.

Oh God, just found your Peyton Parrish videos.... Man.... Yes. I have an entire Spotify playlist that's nothing but Jonathan Young and Peyton Parrish (and one Saltatio Mortis), and I ain't even sorry. I really really appreciate their Viking metal songs (Especially Drengr of Ragnarok) and legit played it as my bedtime music for a month straight. I'm glad to see you cover this beast as well.

I like Peyton; got into his music after Jonathan Young mentioned him. I, too, much prefer Dan's version - it's got way more power, energy, and EPICness, and it just sounds better when others do the other characters. Nice reaction, as always, though.

Yeah give me the dark gritty version by Peyton Parrish over Dan version anyday. Alot of emotion in this one.

The melody of this song is gorgeous.. Any type of style makes it good. But still, I prefer Dan Vasc version because is more epic, has something more that causes goosebumps. Nice video Bro, it is all good reactions. God bless you.

There is NO WAY that Dan's version is more epic than this. Dan's retains some of the playful tone of the original, including where Mulan's (Dan's) friends sing their lines, where this version is more savage, manly, and unrefined. This seems like it's sung more by a warrior and less by a Disney character.

I agree, I LOVE Dan's version. This is good, but Dan's is EPIC

One this is an epic cover and the sheer energy Peyton brings I've only seen in one other place. If you love energetic performances like this give iron maiden a listen and see what bruce dickinson does

this song has a bit of a "colors of the wind" feel to it, to me at least

This is a much more manly, guttural, powerful version than the one sung by Dan Vasc. This version loses the playful tone, especially the part where Mulan's (or Dan's) friends sing their parts, and instead is more warlike and intense. Both are good, and Dan's is more similar to the original, but I can actually rock to Peyton's when in the gym - not so much to Dan's.

This one is excellent but Dan Vasc still has my vote. He just has a more believable tone and style that makes you believe he is preparing an army for war. This guy could be second in command though. :D

If you like rock and roll and all that you should listened to the Hu ( song Wolf Totem ) its a Mongolian band they are great maybe either the Regular version or where they sing with papa roach ( I saw the Hu in concert here in Texas September 28th of last year and trust me you'll not get Disappointed they are bad ass tell you the truth ) and also ( about this video ) I've seen Mulan the old one when i was little like 4 or 5 back in 04 05 I liked it it had that Ancient Chinese vibes and ilike my Ancient civilizations stuff and I'm also part Norse ( if you don't know what that is its Vikings) so feel like when I listen to his viking songs wow its you can't shake that feeling of when you listen to Norse music and oddly enough my nickname is viking just to my cousins aunts and uncles
