I played this for my 102 year old Sicilian Great Grand Mother on her birthday. She speaks primarily Italian and is quick to correct gramatic mistakes. She sat transfixed listening to this, especially the Italian. She muttered Bravo, Mama-Mia and Bravismo several times as tears run down her checks. At the end she looked at me and declared," He is an Angel sent by God!! He must be Italian by proxy, his Italian is perfection, even better than some of you". Addressing relatives in the room. My Gram is my hero, if she says Marcelito is an Angel, who am I to disagree?

He is self taught too. He became homeless at 7-21 years old. He used to sing this to himself whenever feels scared during those times when he was homeless. He sings 2 different languages here, he doesn't speak Italian & he usually needs a help of an English translator.. But he can sing in many different languages like Spanish & Japanese, etc 😊

He does a really good rendition of Celine's "Power Of Love" on the wish bus. He must have an extra set of lungs somewhere to be able to sing like this while sitting, as the lungs can't expand completely. Others have spoken about him being homeless since age 6. Since he is now famous, he has been using some of his money to help elderly Philipino homeless people find housing 😊 . Thanks for your nice review!

Very nice reaction. FYI, Marcelito is self taught. He raised himself on the street from the age of seven. He is a very kind, humble young man. All his performances on AGT are excellent especially “Con te Partiro.” His English is steadily improving, but does not speak Italian….he also sings in Chinese, Spanish, French and Tagalog. Thanks! 👍

Elena, I'm a new subscriber. I have made this comment to several reactors before and other fans will recognize it, but I would like to share it with you. Amazing isn't he? Two personalities, Celine & Andrea, female and male sounds precisely executed, in two languages - neither one is his native language which is Tagalog. I have a theory: Marcelito, is, of course, gifted with an unbelievably beautiful voice, but it is his BRAIN that can MEMORIZE exactly what he HEARS and his marvelous voice allows him to RECREATE it precisely, even female voices, minute inflections in other singer's voices, and in the accurate pronunciation of foreign languages. That strange thing that he does with his mouth after the song is because the Sound Engineers were teasing him about having a 'female voice' so he was 'removing' it. Marcelito is humble with a great sense of humor and a charming stage presence. Well, enough - I thought you might enjoy some insight into this gifted singer. Cheers.

Elena, there is an 11 member (5 women, 6 men) A Cappella ensemble called "Voctave" to which I think you would enjoy reacting. Although Voctave has numerous KZread videos, I recommend that you start with their "Disney Princess Medley" (2017) and then "Disney Love Medley" (late 2015). Note: The "Disney Love Medley" was recorded when Voctave had only 8 members. It features Kirstin Maldonado of Pentatonics fame and Jeremy Michael Lewis of the Acousticats.
