Yes the way Angelina sings is just so amazing and mesmerizing. You hear the audience clap and cheer as soon as she starts singing. I think it is wonderful when artists use their fame to support charities and in general are good caring people. Angelina is a real inspiration in that respect :-D

Liz, there are so many (all of them!!!) songs that we love to hear Angelina sing and then, there are some which we believe defy logic. What we just heard was impossible to comprehend. Every word, every note, every sound, complimented by how she stands there so confident, so sweet, HOW CAN THIS BE REAL!!!!! Surely, we can understand someone being gifted with special attributes but, in Angelina's case it is taken to the nth degree. Her gift and what she is doing with it was meant to be shared with all the people of the world. She understands that since she was a small child. She didn't develop special techniques to make it possible. It's always been there. Liz, back about 3 or 4 years ago I read a comment from someone who had just listened to something Angelina sang and it drew a smile from most of us who read it but it actually went deeper than that. He identified himself as an atheist, a believer only in himself. After listening to Angelina he admitted he would have to sit back and think about his beliefs because what he just heard was something that touched his heart and, was it just this little girl or, rather, who is this little girl? He basically was saying she was a great singer but he couldn't shake the feeling there was so much more going on as he listened to her.

Thank you for another reaction to Angelina. The Barefoot Angel is always amazing regardless of her age, 6 or 16 years old. Liz, of course you make sense because it is not easy to describe a phenomenon called Angelina with her unique, pure, and angelic voice.

I’m sure when the doctor gave her a little slap on her bottom she came out singing! She may have cried a bit but only so she would know how we would sound reacting to so many of her songs. One in a million singer is a few trillion short of the correct number. Thank you and take care

The secret of Angelina was that she just tried to sing beautiful and she worked hard to achieve that. No dancing, no jelling, simple music, slow tempo. Now she is a young woman and it is possible that she goes through changes, but those songs when she was a child are unforgetable.

Hey, I thought she was talking to ME personally! But you are right - she connects with each listener at the level of the soul. It's a kind of magic, I guess. This is what separates her from all the other great singers out there. She has all that and the power to reach us individually, too. I'm so glad you enjoy listening to her as much as you do.

This performance was part of a very busy holiday season in 2014 when Angelina was 8. Her performance at the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony, I believe, is shortly after this one. She recorded "I Put a Spell On You" close to her 9th birthday so that is only weeks after this.
