I remember seeing some clips with subtitles from the ‘Kiss and Cry’ show, and as I recall - the celebrities like IU trained for some time (like a few months). We all know that IU isn’t the most athletic (it’s only fair as she was gifted with every other blessing a person could receive), and she was well behind the other contestants in terms of ability - but remained persistent. Her attitude was so commendable, as we would all expect, knowing her. Kim Yuna was baffled (being a world class athlete, she surely couldn’t understand IU’s slow development). It reminded me of Lee Hyori being equally puzzled when seeing IU shop for clothes (priceless expression). It is just all part of IU’s charm. Kim Yuna and Lee Hyori couldn’t help but love her too.

There's a video where IU's father pokes fun at her athletic abilty and then she brags about her performance with swords in Hotel Del Luna. Her father again pokes fun at her and says it was done with CG. (I think it was in the video where she pretends to take her father for a drive in a car)

Saw that video

그때 당시 제가 정신적으로 어려서 그런지 이 쇼 는 안하는게 좋았다 라고 개인적으로 생각했는데. 그때의 부정적인 생각이 각인이 되어서 그런지 이 쇼에서 아이유 볼때마다 마음이 아프네요 살인적인 스캐줄에 노력은 했지만 신체능력차이 때문에 하차하게되는게 당시 보기 힘들었거든요..

I personally think that IU improved so much in only 2 episodes, and it's a pity she couldn't have the chance to improve even more... But I'm happy she could dedicate herself to other more important things for her life ♥️
