He is actually telling a true story here about an actress who became famous during the 2nd World War in China, but after the war it came out that she was part Japanese & she was banished from China. This story is being told by a person who loved her very much & was heart-broken at her leaving. The original artist was Koji Tamaki & Dimash honoured him with this beautiful cover of his song. Sometimes I want to close my eyes and drift away when Dimash sings, but, I love watching him while he sings. I cannot count how many times I've watched this video, and I still get chills and forget to breathe. This is really my favorite. Please react to "All By Myself" from Singer 2017" and Unforgettable Day. Most will request Unforgettable Day-- Gakku, but, if you really want to see a great performance and awesome orchestration with beautiful background singing, do the one from Singer 2017. Folks like Gakku because he hits that D8 note. Dimash said himself that he wished that people would not concentrate so much on his high notes. I prefer his lower register first, listen to Love Is Like A Dream and Sinful Passion and you will too. Thanks for not leaning back in the chair. I told you I keep thinking you're gonna fall.😂😂❤

If you haven't seen the 2017 I am a Singer in China, he sings so beautifully, it is fun watching what the reactions were backstage by the other competitors, he got sick, and had shots in his throat. The doc told him no high notes, sure. He sings Daybreak during that episode, he sang it again at a concert also 2017 where he could let himself go, wonderful, very emotional. Fun watching someone find this new addiction, I have heard all of his songs so many times, wish I could sing along with him.
