VoicePlay affects you in ways that can't be described. The best way I know of is the French expression Je ne sais quoi. I don't know how or when they achieved this level of performance, but I know they have arrived. Their talent truly is a gift from God.

You just know Bonnie and her fans are amazed and enthralled with this cover. I wonder if Bonnie would sing with them? THAT would be epic.

I find that typing “widd” or “what it do Dave” right before the artist or video you are searching for, works.

This has similar pacing and vibe to the Boyz II Men cover version, but I think I prefer this one!

I'm a Pentaholic but I acknowledge that the other 2 (U know who I mean) are up there. However I think that Voiceplay, always my 2nd favourite, have really raised their game in the last year. I don't think this is the best version of this song because I feel it suits the intimacy of Bonnie Raitt's and Teddy Swims' single vocalist versions. This heartbreak is not a group experience. But simply as a vocal tour de force I love it.

Unpopular opinion incoming! I hate this song. Begging someone who doesn't love you to hold you and pretend? Really? I do love the harmonies but the speed just draws out a muddy subject. Unpopular opinion over. Popular opinion incoming! I still love your reactions and you are right in that the harmonies are amazing.

Not everyone will like every song! I never actually saw this song as asking someone to hold you long term when they don't feel anything. But more along the lines of "I'm going to let you go in the morning, because I know you're just playing a role. But let me have one last night of wishful thinking before I do that. I will let you go because I love you, I just wish that you loved me back." But, honestly, if the song doesn't connect with you, it doesn't connect with you. No harm there!

I didn't care for it at all. The arrangement was off and the vocals sounded flat.

May I suggest, sir, that you get your hearing checked immediately! FYI - the arrangement is flawless, and there is not a single note, chord, or harmonic that is "flat" or "off" in any other way. Of course, you are entitled to your opinion.
