"Time For the Moon Night" is easily my favorite GFriend song. I became a Buddy shortly after the song was released. My first comeback as a Buddy was "Sunny Summer".

I have to recommend you "Fallin Light" this is their Japanese song and the melody is so beautiful, when I heard it the first time I cried, even now I still get goosebumps hearing it.

The "piano" part you heard in Summer Rain was "hinted" at the end of "Love Whisper". That piano part is quoting a classical piece in which you can see Classical Musician React talking about it here: , so yeah, GFriend went Classical!!! (also, starting from love whisper, you can notice their choreography starting and ending in the same/similar position, but I particularly like Summer Rain's starting/ending position) For TFTMN, this link isn't a live stage per say, but to me is the best TFTMN version, the Run To You version, in which it is a special live feature of a Kpop artists perform in public (I really like how this one began) Enjoy!

Other group: Nice, Cool, Badass, Wow, Great, extraordinary, etc. GFRIEND: Beautiful, warm & lovely. I though, their work really touches our hearts . . . that's the biggest difference with other artists.

The piano snippet in Summer Rain is a sample of the first song in Robert Schumann's "Dichterliebe", a collection of songs about love, frequently studied by classical singers. The lyrics in German describe the falling in love with someone in the month of May when flowers bloom (a theme of the choreo here and overarching theme of GFriend), and confessing to that person. GFriend takes it to a melancholic level which by now is their signature. I love this song so much. I'm late to the party, but I need to say that I can totally relate to being almost hurt by how good it is experience GFriend. I've been falling more and more in love with them since Navillera and I'm sometimes overwhelmed by how much I love them. There have been others since (you know Loona, but I don't know if you know Lovelyz), but they're the first group I ever stanned (sat down to watch variety content, learned names and specialties, bought albums). For me, SinB and Eunha are like the sun and moon, because it's a constant cycle of one wrecking the other for my ultimate bias spot. I've seen a lot of reactions to Time for the Moon Night and I didn't really like them because they kinda missed the mood of it, saying it was cute and even happy, which I think doesn't do it justice. Part of it are, but that's just because it's a very rich melancholic song that gets better each time you listen and rewards you with subtlety when you listen well. Long comment for nothing really, just wanted to say I really appreciate this reaction. Thank you!

I'm so happy that your reaction to Summer Rain (which is my most favorite title track) is less words and pure feeling only. This song just keeps you speechless. Being quiet for it is a compliment to the song itself. The song tells about the feeling of being in love, but with the uncertainty of it going to last. As for TFTMN, the feeling of wanting to cry by the song itself is because it tells about loneliness and longing. Even without learning the meaning of the song, the melody tells it to you. Aside from Rough, this is their "song". If you ask for a GFriend song, this might be the one Buddy will recommend. :)

You HAVE to watch the Jeju Hallyu Festival performance. Yerin covered Yuju's high note and she SLAYED IT (STAN SLAYRIN) and fireworks flew out in the sky (literally) while she was doing it.

Time For The Moon Night secret ingredients are their vocal n music arrangements. Both combinations successfully make us feel their sadness n loneliness through the entire mv + we can feel it even without the lyrics translation. Thats what make this song and Gfriend themselves are special to Buddy

From what I heard the story behind TFTMN is that Eunha is the only person who is alive and she remembers the time when the others were alive. This continues in Crossroads where she tries to go back in time to fix things between them; which can be seen as the train in crossroads going forward at the start, but backwards in the end.

Time for the moon night really was a time where theories really bomb. About eunha being dead is the most famous. But, crossroad really turn everything upside down. And this song is is actually a sad song... Their vocals just always touch you.

TFTMN is a big big song. Recommend you to watch a big stage performance. you will feel how shock this song is. By the way, this song have another story ver. that is mourn the sinking of MV Sewol in 2014. Around 250 students died in the disaster. that is why Yuju make a super high note for this song.
