It's always so satisfying to see these behind the scenes recordings. Shuhua always gets flustered when she is asked to sway from the "normal" Korean pronunciation. That is why the part with Yuqi was so hard for her to understand. Soyeon always has 100 % focus on correct Korean pronunciation and Shuhua of course works most under Soyeon. But Yuqi wants it pronounced not 100 % correct but more fitting to the vibe here. I have never seen Soyeon being all bossy when she is not the producer. Granted we havent seen a lot of recording behinds from the other girls but there is one other that you could check out. It's the recording of Hwaa Chinese version and it's very interesting because Yuqi re-wrote the lyrics in Chinese while it's still Soyeon's song. Right, for Hwaa chinese version, make Shu understand the lyric more and get why the chorograph have to be like that.❤

I thought it was interesting that the subtitles in the section where Minnie was going over lyrics with Shuhua said "In your rise" instead of "In your eyes". I'm not sure if that's intentional or not, but I used to do a lot of English enunciation work with international students, and that was a pretty common trick we used to use when unfamiliar vowel and consonant sounds were together. If you can find another grouping of words that makes the same sound pattern, you can trick your mouth to make the right noise. If that's what Minnie was doing there, very clever.

Yeah, it was intentional. She was telling Shuhua to say it that way instead.

I typically dont comment that much on videos, but the way u noticed so many details on their faces... or the way they talk to each others made me comment and subscribe. Hoping to see more of this type of videos (The recording behind and all that stuff). Thanks for the video :)

"It's so caring, it's very nice, it's very heartwarming" *few secs later* Yuqi: "Knock it off." Best part ever! It's like in their BTS Nxde Soyeon tells Shuhua "do it right or I'll kxll you." That's how you know their friendship is so much more that they can jokingly threaten each other and laugh about it. I absolutely love their connection to each other.

Hi i really enjoy ur reactions to idle. I just wanted to say yuqi is actually “oogie” in korean (우기)and some fans are really loud about how people should pronounce her name so just wanted to give a heads up 😊
