It's an intense and beautiful song brother. Always brings a tear. MORE touching in the context of her long, on/off relationship with Lindsey Buckingham. Here is a lovely performance of them together: kzread.info/dash/bejne/e2iWubCjn9fLn7Q.html

Don't feel embarrass this song touches the emotions of thousands of people who hear it or heard because it brings up the vulnerability and fragility humans feel in this world pain and loss......a broken relationship.....a death of a loved one......getting older and feeling closer to Death.......the fear of change because it is unknown to the newness that lies ahead....devolvement in life....the touches the glass menagerie we humans feel in life......so.....you are not the only one who has cried hearing this song!!!! Great reaction!!!

This is one of Stevie's finest performanes and I do love this song, but it also owes a lot to Lindsey Buckingham's exquisite guitar work - he is so underrated and no matter how fractious their relationship was, their work together was amazing!

I've heard it thousands of time. One my personal top ten faves. But after recently having my life crumble after my partner entered a nursing home for dementia and cannot communicate. The line "I built my life around you. Brought tears for the first time. I think that's the thing about this song is it speaks so much to life that it can touch you in different ways at different times, it just comes from a place of honesty.

Oh, this was such a tender song - when it first was released, I was broken up with a fellow and we were at the same party when this came over the radio. I felt the heartbreak, let it wash over me, and then moved on to be okay. Music is one of those things of the human condition that can make us laugh, weep, wonder, and find clarity.

As you said such beautiful lyrics and Stevie's delivery and the groups music make it even more powerful. The line that you reacted to, "even children get older and I'm getting older too" always struck me as very profound for such an obvious truth; it conveys to me the loss of childhood innocence which gets replaced by the sometimes harsh reality of adulthood (the landslide) and when we think about it hits home. You got to react to the live performance of this song just her and Lindsey Buckingham on acoustic guitar it is just sublime (make sure its the official music video version). Even Lindsey is moved to tears by her singing by the end of the song so your not the only one of us! Anyway thanks for another great and honest reaction.

I don't want to sound like an "old guy", but really... show me a mainstream song made recently that can hit you like this. I think music is in a sad state today: Autotune vs. real vocal talent, drum machines vs. real drumbeats, programming vs. playing, copying/sampling vs. creativity. Not to mention lyrics that are vapid, pandering, or just plain garbage. As a die-hard Rush fan (I know you've been impressed by some of their songs thus far), I have to suggest a couple of songs from their catalog that are lyrically deep: "Nobody's Hero", "Afterimage", "Resist", "Red Sector A", "Ghost Rider", "Everyday Glory", "The Larger Bowl". NOTE: please read the Wiki on the songs if you choose to do them. Knowing the back stories behind what The Professor (Neil Peart) was referencing is key to getting the "feel" of the songs. PS... I enjoy your reactions. Keep up the good work.

I had such a schoolboy crush on Stevie back then. Growing up on the seventies I went to school with cute hippie type girls and she just reminded me of them.

You have GOT to react to Fleetwood Mac's Big Love on their live The Dance. Lindsey Buckinham will just blow you out of the water.

I can't recall the comic, but there was a joke that in the 70s, you opened the door & there was a copy of Rumors on your porch lol Such a beautiful song! I even like Smashing Pumpkins version, but in our hearts, it's forever Stevie!♥️✌

Oh man I wish you would have done Landslide Live from The Dance in 1997. That video is a must watch, her voice has matured and her live version when she interacts with Lindsey. I believe Landslide has been the biggest money maker song for FM as it has been recorded by so many other artists.
