Well Cantonese native speakers are technically Chinese natives 😅 but the song is mandarin and GEM is Cantonese that's how her énonciation seemed more defined for some Chinese dialects

Clearly, I’m not breaking the news that she was number one on her birthday. What a phenomenal run this has been for her so far! It wasn’t my favorite performance (“ Grenade” I mean. I absolutely love the Chinese song she did last week. ) by her, but it was good and since she deserved it in the past, I’ll take it.

Some reactors that are fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and Engllish said her pronunciation was perfect, they couldn't even detect an accent. Said she did better than a Chinese singer (Mandarin) who sang in Cantonese. They also said she pronounced things as well, maybe even better than GEM.

Can you believe it that this triumphant performance positioned number 2? This shows owe her number 1 multiple times. But so happy that her recent performance got number 1.
