This is a cover and the original "The Sky of the Slavs" is a famous, patriotic song of the group "Alisa", written by Konstantin Kinchev in 2000. Diana proves once again her versatility and prowess as an artist. This song is more rock-like in nature and I think her voice suits the genre very well. She has a naturally powerful, dark voice and doesn’t need to yell or scream to effectively communicate the gravity of the lyrics. By the way, another new song is expected to be released next week (specifically April 7th). I believe it’s called “Winter Without Snow”. Mark your calendar for that! :)

Few reactors take the time to do things like that- they simply react to one song from a certain performer, cross them off the list, and move on. I suspect that some of them just do reactions so they can build up subscribers and make money. You, on the other hand, seem to truly enjoy listening to the people you watch and it’s lovely to see. I heard her back when she was 13yo, quite by chance and I knew instantly that this was a very special singer and I decided to support and follow her career for as long as it took to see her attain Worldwide recognition. OK, some minor problems have gotten her way lately, nothing she can do about that, but if I know Diana, she will wait it out and it won't stop her! Nothing stops Diana! 😂😂

​​@@hearingninja I totally agree, we all like different things and I respect other people's honest opinions. Some people come to watch my channel and they are mega fans of some band or performer and seem to worship them in a way that goes beyond any level of rational thinking. When another person comes along to disagree with them, they get anialated and I get the rudest and most disrespectful comments as well. However, I'm just heere to enjoy music with my viewers and express my genuine reactions. We all have our likes and dislikes and are so blessed to have social media and KZread for the purpose of peaceful enjoyment of music and arts. I only wish that the angry commentators would use all that wonderful energy of theirs to improve themselves or argue for more meaningful causes around the world 🌎!

@@reactwithelena Well, admittedly, I too used to get really angry when people would insult Diana. It seems to me that some of these people hate her voice beyond any reasonable measure and use that hatred to attack her relentlessly. It’s not fun to watch someone you admire get torn down over and over again. Eventually I realized that no one, no matter how objectively talented, will be able to keep everyone happy. It’s simply impossible with how many differing opinions we all have. Like all art, music and musical taste is entirely subjective and I’ve learned to live with that. For that reason I try to treat haters respectfully even when they don’t show the same behavior towards me. For all of its flaws, I’ve found social media to be a great place. I would never have found some of my favorite international performers and bands if not for KZread.

@@hearingninja Well put! The best way to deal with angry people or irrational arguments is not to engage or take it personally. As the famous saying goes : " If you argue with a fool you will end up a fool", another person's wild imagination and opinion cannot hurt you unless you care about them personally -so don't let them live rent-free in your head!
